I wish I had found this leather repair tape years ago during my earlier attempts to fix my leather chair! I previously tried using leather fabric and glue to cover the tears, but it just wouldn’t hold. This tape, however, is super sticky and even adhered perfectly around the curved armrest. In my case, it matched the leather grain well, but the finish was slightly off—it has more of a matte texture compared to the chair's glossy surface. I didn’t notice this until I applied it, but even so, it looks better than before (see last photo). The repair took only about 10 minutes and was incredibly easy. I recommend this tape if you find it matches the texture of your furniture!

I got this repair vinyl to try to save the dash in an old car. The dash is cracked and I have repaired the cracks and it just doesn't look right. I put this vinyl on top of the repairs all across the dash. The vinyl is easy to cut and molds to the dash. It is self sticking but I used some leftover carpet adhesive and it has held up well. I gave this 5 Stars. If you are looking for some quick fix for an old black plastic or vinyl thing then go ahead and give this vinyl a try. It is affordable and easy to use. It holds up well and forms to just about any shape. Highly recommend.

I have recently gained some business from a local auto body shop to repair their client’s damaged car upholstery when the need arises. This is the reason why I had purchased the - Leather Repair Patch Tape Kit, 17" x 79" Self Adhesive Leather Repair Patch for Furniture, Vinyl Leather Repair Kit for Car Seat, Chairs, Couch, Sofa, Boat Black. I have yet to have the opportunity to apply this product to any repairs however, I did open it up and cut off a piece to see if it matches the interior leather of my car. I have to say, it’s a pretty close match. I will also add that the leather is thin. Without the white tape backing, it measures .60 mm. The tape is sticky and the 1” x 17” piece that I had cut off had no stretch in one direction and very little stretch in the other. I’m looking forward to trying this out. If the results are at all negative, I will update this review.

The patch is self adhesive, making it super easy to apply. I just cut the size I needed, peeled off the backing, and pressed it onto the damaged area. It stuck firmly and did not require any extra glue or tools. The whole process took less than 10 minutes, and it saved me from having to buy a new sofa or pay for an expensive professional repair. The patch is flexible enough to handle the curves of the seat without peeling off or looking awkward. It is strong and stays in place, even with daily use and movement. Plus, the adhesive is tough, so it does not lift around the edges or shift once applied.

This leather repair is the exact shade of my inside door panels so it made it easier to fix little rips. The backing comes off easily and its very sticky so it stayed on it. I almost cant even notice the difference between the original and where the small tears were.
