The audio and video quality far surpasses the streaming, especially the sound stage, audio details, and the bass. Great master and release. I see other reviewers complaining about Steelbook but Steelbooks sell in an arena where physical media sales are down. The prices are in line with inflation, where folks saw $30 as a good deal or sale for DVD series in the early 2000s. Some series back in 2000 were $50, $60, $70+ ($93, $112, $131 respectively in today’s money). In this day and age, however, physical media is not necessary to see the content and many shows don’t get a physical release … making it harder still to understand complaints about a forever version the show. Some folks complain about Bluray but all of the literature on the page clearly marketed it as 4k and UHD. Those reviews are admissions of poor reading comprehension but it’s a mistake everyone makes every once in a while. This is far from Disney’s first 4K release, and a problem like that would have been worked out before. ... show more

    • 4K/HD Blu-ray disc will not play on a standard Blu-ray 1080p DVD Player
The series is fantastic, but sadly Marvel/Disney have opted for this season to ONLY have a 4K HD Bluray collector set, and my Bluray player does not recognize the disc. I prefer to purchase a standard Region DVD 1 / Blu-ray A for my two players, but an HD disc set and a standard Blu-ray set for this season seem to not exist. So while I love the series, and while Season 1 does come in a standard Blu-ray set (also no HD version, just the collector tins, an overkill of packaging to be honest), I can play S1 on my Sony Blu-ray first generation player, but I cannot play the 4K/HD Blu-ray at all. It's also as if Disney wants to discourage fans from physical media. Sorry, I'm old, I want physical media. ... show more
