Very pleasant surprise of higher quality and so easy to put together!! They are not for folks 3xl and up but in 5’9” and an XL to 2X in size and I can sit comfortably in them. We needed a few extra seats when company is here. They are perfect for extra chairs. We still sit in our lazy boy recliners facing the tv at night but like for holidays or Sunday visiting afternoons we now have places for folks to sit up to about 8 before we have to bring kitchen table chairs into the den. We are so pleased and they are more economical buying 2!! I didn’t notice that at first and bought 2 singles and canceled those and bought the pair when I saw them for less. I’d definitely buy again. They are not as tall as my wing back chair but they are fine with me. Read the dimensions and make sure you’re ok with them. Over 5’9” may be a bit low if mobility is an issue or post hip replacement folks where they aren’t supposed to sit past 90°. But again these are perfect for the reason we bought these!! I actually LOVE this chair! I wish I had room for more of them. Of course its not real leather and the legs are not wood! But it looks terrific in my bedroom, is comfy if not exactly roomy, and was a snap to assemble. Of course, I've been burned on other goods from Amazon that seemed great at first but didn't last. But I've had this chair for about a month and SO FAR, it's a wonderful bargain. ... show more

This is a great chair I believe it will last a long time. It’s very solid and sturdy. It was easy to assemble and is very comfortable. The color wasn’t as dark as I wanted it to be but I kept it anyway and used it in another room.

At first, this chair seemed small. I am 5'8" and 230lbs. I've had it only 4 days and it's grown on me. I now love the size and comfort, the only issue I have is the height of the armrest. If it were 2-3 inches higher the chair would be perfect.

Positives: Delivered sooner than expected. Very easy to assemble. Took 5 min once unboxed. The chair is a great color and the material seems very sturdy. It's comfortable if you aren't a large person. The price was reasonable. Negatives: While I wasn't looking for a large chair, this chair is quite small. Worst of all, the workmanship on the seams of the arms was very bad as seen in the pictures I've included. I will be returning the chair because of that issue. ... show more

These chairs are child sized, way too small, not suitable for large adults. Not given any free return option when I requested refund. Was given a generic shipping label with only an address on it, instructed to take to USPS whose cheapest rate to ship back was $125 per chair in original packaging! I paid $149 each at purchase! I should not have to pay nearly as much to return an item as what I paid for it to get a refund when product was misrepresented! Outrageous! I will not be buying any more large costly items off of Amazon! I am having the same problem returning an outdoor swing still in box from another company. So much for your so called "hassle free returns" policy! ... show more
