  • Great Minimalist Mouse for Everyday Use
I've been using this for about a year and a half, and I think I've had enough use time with it to give a fair review of the longevity of the mouse. It's comfortable to hold and is super responsive with macOS software for accelerating mouse movements. It's not easy to pick up and move given the flat design, but the macOS software accounts for this by making it easier to exaggerate smaller movements without picking up your mouse at all. I imagine this might be more annoying for Windows or Linux users if you don't have this software feature, since you would need to pick up the mouse more to move it across the screen. The buttons and wheel are pretty easy to press. I did have a problem recently with the left button not working, but a drop of mineral oil into the button fixed that pretty much instantly. Just to note: this isn't an issue with the mouse in particular; all mice have a limited number of clicks in their life, it's just that this was very easy to repair. The magnetic cover is a major plus because it made it extra easy to just pop open the mechanical compartment and drop the oil into the button. The build is pretty solid on the inside, and any repairs are so easy to do that this is basically a buy it for life product. I think my only negative with the device so far is that it clings onto stains and yellows fairly easily, but I imagine this is easier for those without the white version of the mouse. Doing a retrobrite on the scrolling wheel would fix the yellowing pretty much instantly, but take note that the wheel does turn off-white over time. Battery life is superb. I pretty much forget that this thing has a battery until four months pass by and then I have to change it. I use rechargeable AA batteries in this, so the capacity may be slightly different from one time use AA batteries. The Bluetooth connectivity is straightforward and automatically connects after the first set-up without any delays. I've used the USB part too, but it's frankly not necessary if your computer has Bluetooth. It's very responsive and there's no lag time between the movements and the response. Overall, I think I would recommend this to most people who need a mouse that is portable and usable for day to day tasks. I've gamed with this, and I wouldn't recommend it if you need mice with extra buttons for macros or quick movements on non-macOS products, but I don't fault the mouse for that given it's meant for general use. Would I buy this again? Yeah. Do I need to? No, this thing will probably last me forever given that it's stupid easy to repair. ... show more

  • Took awhile to get it to work with Ventura
I got this mouse to travel with my iPad and MacBook Air M2, as well as for the times when I use the continuity feature or the iPad as a second screen.. I''m not uncomfortable using the pad, but sometimes you just need a mouse. It comes with a bluetooth receiver just in case you need to plug it in to work. Just FYI, although the little diagram on the "guide" that comes with it shows the receiver located inside the Pebble next to the battery, you really have to figure that one out. What's with all these "guides" having everything in really small designs? I kind of like that the receiver is tucked away, though, because when you travel, it's easy to lose that little plug. The Pebble connected easily with my iPad Air. It's strange getting used to both how a mouse works with an iPad and what it looks like. But, it does work. On the other hand, connecting to the MacBook was infuriating. It would show up, then disappear. It would show up, I'd hit connect and the little ball would spin forever and then it would disappear. Never once did the MacBook ask me, as it should have, to give it permission to connect. I did the usual: turn off bluetooth on the Mac and the mouse, shut off and removed all other devices, and rebooted. To no avail. I went to the Logitech website for support. The Logitech website was excruciatingly useless. There is not support for the Pebble. In fact, it's not even in their support dropdown list. They do have a thing about Bluetooth Devices Not Connecting to Ventura (there's an issue), but after following that, same problem. So, I googled the problem. Here's the way to get it to connect to your MacBook running Ventura: there's a little button under the light and next to the on/off switch, hold that down for a few seconds. The blue light should start to blink rapidly. That's the pairing mode for Bluetooth. If your Pebble has a green light, it's in the pairing mode for the receiver. Hold that button down until it turns blue to make it pair with Bluetooth. Voila! Done. It will connect automatically after that. I didn't expect the Pebble to be in the same vicinity of quality and usefulness as the Apple Mouse, or any mouse more expensive. It's a travel mouse. I expected it to be simple, light and reasonably useful. For those purposes, it's just fine. The scroll wheel scrolls as expected and the clicks are quiet. I have a small hand, so I'm comfortable. If you have a large hand, you might find it a strain somewhat. It works on a AA battery and if you have large fingers, it may take some patience to get it out. Supposedly it will last a very long time before you have to try that. The surface is comfortable to use. ... show more

  • This Pebble mouse has a great feel.
I wanted to submit this review because I am so impressed with the feel and operation of this Logi PEBBLE. Ive never used such a flat and quiet mouse before. Clicking on stuff is actually enjoyable, rather than just obligatory. Extremely quiet clicks that are lower in tone than other mice, which have a higher frequency click sound. Still feels a bit odd not having the traditional hump shape under my hand but I prefer the flatness, once I used it for a bit. ... show more
