Backlighting is great. It is pretty light, but having the ten key helps when I do spreadsheets. It is a great product. Easy to clean. Can of air and a clorox wet wipe work wonders. It has a good clicky feel. This one doesn't have a battery, but it is a good purchase to get.

    • It's a perfected G915 from a few years ago..

I have a G915 from a few years ago (clicky switches) and now I just bought this G915 X (tactile). It may not be a huge upgrade over the G915, but I think of this as a perfected version of it due to the PBT keycaps, the stable switches, the switch feel, USB-C, and supposedly better battery life. I think the tactile version of the G915 X is my favorite tactile of any tactile I've ever used. The bump in the switch travel is so subtle that during fast typing, the keyboard feels nearly linear. It's during the slower/infrequent key presses that you can feel the tactile bump. For me, this is perfect for gaming, absolutely perfect. The updated (shorter) switch actuation point/height really complements the newly updated GL switches in the G915 X. The actuation is immediately after the very subtle bump and the effort is much lighter than the G915 tactile. I absolutely adore this keyboard. It's what I wanted from the original G915. I appreciate that they didn't try to reinvent the wheel here. Now for those experiencing your settings defaulting or resetting: It's because 1) Your GHUB isn't on, or 2) If you use on-board memory, you didn't properly save to a profile or 3) You have auto-update for GHUB which tends to reset all the settings. Yes GHUB is awful, but you don't have to run it on start-up if you figure out how to save your settings PROPERLY to the on-board memory profiles. ... show more

Purchased Oct 2024. By Jan of 2025 my S key started double typing. I never had this issue with the previous version of this keyboard which I owned for many years. Something about the construction of this new board makes it prone to double typing. You'll see other reviewers mention this. It's sad because I really like everything else about this keyboard. Hope Logitech can use better parts in the future. **Update 4-16-25 - I purchased a second G915X a couple months ago due to the issue mentioned previously regarding the S key double typing. Now the second keyboard I purchased has started double typing with the 'N' key. If you look on Reddit you will see that the 'N' key specifically is causing many users to have double typing issues. I am beyond frustrated with Logitech and will no longer be purchasing their products. I have also received very poor customer service support from them. Reaching out regarding the issue resulted in a lengthy chat with a rep who proceeded to lecture me about basic things like restarting my computer and downloading drivers. It took 3 hours to finally receive the offer to do an RMA which they said I would receive via email. I never received that follow up email. I have essentially $250 dollars of paper weights from Logitech now. ... show more

I previously had the wired version of this keyboard in black. One of the main reasons I went for this version was because it came in white. Also, though I really appreciate the wireless capabilities. It works well with just one wireless adapter in conjunction with my Logitech wireless mouse. One thing I really appreciate is that this can be used wirelessly or wired with the provided caballing. The RBG functions are great and it has all the features I'm accustomed to from a Logitech keyboard such as game mode, several G keys and a full keyboard layout. So the keyboard itself is as good as it gets. It feels premium, and for the price it better.. The utility is there. It's elegant and low profile. Cream of the crop in just about every regard. The slightly pitted surface of the keycaps feels great and deters fingerprints. You can set multiple profiles, additional keys added for macros, added Bluetooth for the phone and lightspeed dongle for the computer. I've never had an issue with latency or anything like that, very reliable. I've also never had a scroll wheel like this on a keyboard before and I love it. The slightly gummy feeling pause/play/skip/mute buttons feel good and are fun to press. USB-C is very convenient and the metal board is STURDY. Feels premium. All the lighting options were really fun to play around with too. Starlight like the night sky and echo press to ripple like water when you press a key really blew me away, although I do usually just keep it all one color. The entire experience with the keyboard overall is satisfying and fun to use. I Can't say enough good about the build. This is the be-all end-all of keyboards, it's got everything you could think of and anything you could ever want or need out of a keyboard. Now the bad.. The software. Logitech GHUB will be how you manage the device and it's notorious for being awful. Here it is: if you don't mind getting annoyed with the software (you will) and probably reinstalling it a few times then I can recommend this keyboard.
