  • The best low-profile keyboard you can buy The best low-profile keyboard you can buy
Color: Black Size: TKL Style: G915 TKL Pattern: Linear
I have gone through a variety of phases as far as mechanical keyboards go, I've had Razers mechanical and optical switches, Ducky keyboards, the Drop Alt with Zeal switches on it, and a couple Corsair keyboards as well. I was looking for a fast-actuating linear switch that would be good for playing FPS games like Valorant and CSGO, and this keyboard fits the bill perfectly. The actuation is fast, and the travel distance is perfect in my opinion, not being too immediate as to accidentally hit switches, but just fast enough to be immediate if you need it to be. The switches are smoother than what you'll get with any Cherry switch, but not as smooth as a Zeal or Ink switch, but that doesn't really matter. Compared to other keyboards, the value proposition of this keyboard is difficult to accept, but the keyboard is top-notch, there is no competition when it comes to some of its features. It's lightspeed wireless connection has basically no latency, so it can be used for competitive gaming without a problem. In addition, there are very few low-profile mechanical keyboards of good quality on the market right now. The TKL format is rarer than full-sized by far, so the fact that it is both low-profile and TKL, and linear, and lightspeed, and has excellent metal build quality, and dedicated media keys, all make this keyboard worth it in my opinion. If you can't stomach the price of the keyboard, there are lots of other good keyboards available for far less money, but this keyboard has features that I've listed that you cannot find anywhere else, and that's kind of a shame. To be honest, even if the competition was makin similar keyboards, I would still be buying this one, most likely, because it's absolutely gorgeous, small, and the Logitech software doesn't crash my computer the way Razer's has. Other than the price, the only cons of this keyboard are that it comes with ABS keycaps, which are cheap and will begin to shine after a while, and that it uses micro-usb instead of usb-c to charge, both minor issues considering that Logitech will send you new keycaps if you need them. If you can afford it, and want the features it has, buy it. ... show more

  • pricey but quality
Color: Black Size: TKL Style: G915 TKL Pattern: Linear
This is a great smaller tactile mechanical gaming keyboard. It's actually pretty heavy with a very nice brushed aluminum body, it has a look of quality and solid construction. The tactile keys are soft and has just enough clack, where it's not noisy. The RGB controls are easy and the colors are nice. The KB has a nice volume roller on the top right and it's very easy to adjust volume level quickly. The interface to charge the keyboard is a standard usb 2.0 cable, but i think they should have upgraded to usb-c by now. Once charged you can plug the dongle into the same cable and use the keyboard wirelessly which works well. I dont feel any lag, but i haven't felt lag in my old non gaming keybaord either. So for gaming it seems fine, been playing a bunch of games on steam and it all works fine. If you need a matching mouse, i got G502 lightspeed wireless mouse to match which has the same usb 2.0 interface. Anyways, seems like a great keyboard, this one didn't come with any extra replaceable mechanical keys which would have been nice at this price point. But giving it a 5 for now as it's the nicest keyboard i have purchased so far. ... show more

  • Excellent product, just didn't fit me
Color: Black Size: TKL Style: G915 TKL Pattern: Linear
I purchased the linear keys version for use while teleworking. I tend to pound keys pretty hard and needed something that's not going to be so loud, while still retained a good, tactile feedback. This keyboard was not the right one for me. I attempted to install donuts under the key caps but the posts are not compatible with common post rubber o-rings. The good: very high-quality construction, stable, very quiet (it lives up to its promise). Volume wheel was a plus. I want to be clear - there's nothing wrong with the keyboard. For someone who is a fast, light typist who doesn't need to "bottom out" the keys, this is the keyboard for you. The not-so-good (to me): Keys are very lightly sprung and good sensitivity. Short travel. Keyboard construction is high-great and has an authoritative heft to its. Good, stable rear feet for elevation. I'm sure the color backlights work well, but I am using this on a computer that won't allow me to install the color management software. Last observation - compared to my other keyboards, the keys feel just-a-tiny-bit smaller than other keyboards. I feel having to put my hands closer together than "normal" for me. This is NOT a clicky keyboard! But it's a wonderfully quiet, linear keyboard with good features and quality construction. Hope this feedback is helpful for others looking at this keyboard. ... show more

  • Good keyboard, almost great
Color: Black Size: TKL Style: G915 TKL Pattern: Linear
So far I really like the keyboard. Its been lasting 40+ hours on one charge. The tactile key version is the best one as there was little feel with the linear keys. I did not try the clicky version. The tactile is the best compromise with a decent feedback and slight click thats not terribly loud. The things that keep this keyboard from being great is that the gaming mode key to disable the windows key wont remember its setting. Also the worst part is that the kay the keys are made, the special characters IE the ones on the number keys and others IE !@#$%^&*(){}:">?< cant be seen if in low light. I contacted logitech and there is no way to see these symbols. Its rather absurd not to have these illuminate at any time. If you are in low light you wont be able to see them so youll need a flashlight or trial and error. Also the bluetooth aspect will not connect to a ps4. I was hoping it would but it wont. I did not try it with the dongle. Overall though Ive been very pleased with this keyboard, even with the price point. ***Update 10-10-2020*** Sadly after working with Logitech tech support, they confirmed that the gaming mode is disabled anytime the keyboard goes to sleep. So when you are playing something with a joystick or other controller, not using the keyboard, when it goes to sleep, the gaming mode turns off. This is sadly an ABSURD design. My previous hardwired logitech keyboards had physical on off gaming modes that never turned off. From tech support....Good day! we hope you are doing fine. We have confirmed from our higher supports that the G915 gaming keyboard game mode will be disabled when the computer went back from sleep mode and there is no option from the GHUb software to disable that feature as that's how the keyboard was designed. ... show more

  • Amazing keyboard for a couch gamer and media PC
Color: Black Size: TKL Style: G915 TKL Pattern: Linear
My primary personal computer is connected to a large screen TV I use for gaming, media and general use. I do not like sitting at a desk using my personal computer reminds me of being at work. I tried a few keyboards, a cheap Logitech mouse keyboard combo that worked well for the price but was "laggy" and not backlit. I upgraded to a Corsair K63 Wireless and was immensely disappointed (read my review). I purchased one of these and was amazed. Originally, I bought this as a gift. Amazon did a sneaky and sent me an open box keyboard posing as new twice. While waiting for an actual new one without fingerprints all over that, I could send it as a gift I fell in love. After sorting that out with Amazon, I kept one of the open box keyboards. The wake time is fantastic; the latency is low, backlighting is excellent, the form factor is perfect for me and the battery life is much better than expected. I now use the Corsair as my primary work keyboard, hardwired. At the end of the day, when I pick up the Logitech and put it on my lap, I smile. The only thing that would make this keyboard perfect would be if dual-purpose keys like the number keys and period, comma, etcetera had both key functions lit. For example, on the 2 key, only the 2 is lit and not the @. For more intelligent people that could memorize the keyboard, this would be a non-issue. Thank you Logitech for making this keyboard. Overall worth the price and excellent! ... show more

  • Perfect high end wireless Gaming Keyboard
Color: Black Size: TKL Style: G915 TKL Pattern: Linear
I usually don’t feel the need to write reviews but I couldn’t say no to this one. Yes it’s very expensive but goddamit is it worth every penny imo. The aluminum brushed metal asthetic with the low profile design and that GORGEOUS RGB lighting is beauty to behold. On top of that the key presses are so nice and responsive. I got this as my primary gaming keyboard (linear) and it works flawlessly. GHub got updated and now you can customize the RGB lighting with even cooler effects!! ... show more

  • (Linear) Experienced typer - best typing experience I've ever had
Color: Black Size: TKL Style: G915 TKL Pattern: Linear
I'm a programmer and type at a rate of 100+ wpm. I've gone through a number of keyboards throughout the years. To name a few: - Razer BlackWidow (MX Browns) - Razer BlackWidow (MX Blues) - Corsair K70, K63 (Cherry MX Reds with postmodded 0.2mm dampeners) - Fnatic miniSTREAK (Cherry MX Silent Reds, also with 0.2mm dampeners) At first I was a bit worried about the lack of a wrist rest, but the low-profile design eliminates the need for one. I prefer this over my K63/K70 (which both have pretty stellar wrist rests, imo). I noticed an immediate reduction in mistypes using this keyboard over my K63. Beyond that, the keys are more satisfying to press. The low profile design combined with the brushed metal body makes for a more appealing aesthetic as well, imo. Likely going to be buying another one for work. ... show more

  • The WORST keyboard above $15 The WORST keyboard above $15
Color: Black Size: TKL Style: G915 TKL Pattern: Linear
I cannot believe this keyboard is $200. Disgusting. The 5 star reviews must've received a different quality keyboard for their review. I have tested the 915TKL Linear AND Clicky. The linear keys feel exactly like a $15 wireless Logitech keyboard from Walmart. I do not believe the 45g activation force nonsense they claim, it feels like 70-90g with every key being inconsistent. I'm a computer programmer and an avid gamer that's looking for the best keyboard on the market right now, I have gone through a lot of keyboards so far and surprisingly this is the worst one I have tested yet. I've always been disappointed by Logitech but I'm going to try the G915 TKL Clicky variant to see if they can change my mind. Do not buy this. Even if money is no object for you, this is not worth more than $15. Review for the clicky: After trying the linear and switching to this clicky I realized a lot of the issue stems from the keycaps and their lack of stability on the switches. The keys wobble, so as you apply force if it is not at a perfect 90 degree angle, the wobble absorbs some of the pressure which is why some keys feel significantly harder to press than others: a quality control issue no one should be seeing past the $90 price bracket for keyboards. The actual clicky mechanical switch feels scratchy and inconsistent with every key despite being aware of the key wobble. It feels like it needs some WD-40 in there (I know, don't put WD-40 in your keyboard lol) With how many 5 star reviews there are for this keyboard I thought there is no way it can be this bad so I asked my girlfriend to try out Typeracer on 4 of my current keyboards under testing, 2 of them being the 915 TKL Clicky and Linear variants. She gave up on both 915 TKL's before even finishing the race on Typeracer. Literally mid-race, she swaps out the keyboards for the other 2 I was testing. After this I needed objective evidence that this product line is trash. So I got it. I have an average typing speed of 140wpm on my Razer Blackwidow V3, on this keyboard I can only reach 115 at my best. That is an 18% decrease, now I'm not saying the Blackwidow is the best keyboard, I'm still on the search for a better one, but this goes to show objectively that this keyboard is trash and not worth $200 under any understanding of monetary value. The only good part about this keyboard is the volume knob which is actually quite smooth. Otherwise I would rate this keyboard negative stars if I could, to balance out the delusional 5 stars that this keyboard has received on Amazon. Seriously. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS PRODUCT LINE. ... show more
