The old 1998 Intrepid motor was worn out. This thing replaces the mechanism and the motor for less than I could find a motor and looks just like the OEM one. Just changing the motor is tricky because of the coil spring (and mine was stuck in the wrong place), so this was a no-brainer. The regulator/motor replacement was pretty easy to do. However, there was some cursing related to all the 'goo' on the door panel, not paying attention to the wire harness routing requiring door panel disassembly and reassembly, and then finding the door arm bracket in the seat after buttoning everything up, but that's just normal for me. ... show more

    • Wasn't an exact fit for 2001 Concorde
Style: Driver Side (LH)
This window regulator looked identical to the one being replaced. However, the 4 tabs that mount the regulator to the door were slightly wider than the original, and I couldn't get the regulator to slide completely into the door. This caused the regulator to be slightly out of alignment. So, I swapped out the motor and re-installed the original regulator with the new motor. It works fine now. The unit did look well constructed. It just wasn't an exact fit for the 2001 Concorde. Also just a warning... these regulators have a strong tension spring. If removing the motor, make sure you clamp the gear to the regulator frame before removing the motor. Otherwise, you risk losing a couple of fingers if the spring unwinds and the gear gets you. ... show more

Rare to be disappointed with a Dorman product, but this one was subpar. It arrived in a box that appeared to have been opened previously, perhaps a return. The regulator had one corner attachment point bent about 45 degrees and the plastic sheathing around the wires had longitudinal cracks with pieces missing. Serviceable after repairs.
