Truthfully, I am NOT a Lego person. At all. But my littlest son loves them, and he loves Minecraft, and ones of the things we’ve built memories on is him getting Minecraft Lego sets for his birthday and Christmas and asking if I will help him out them together. He doesn’t need my help, these sets are fairly easy with step by step instructions and they are colorful and fun and entertaining enough to hold his focus on them, BUT he likes putting them together as a bonding activity and he keeps them together and plays with them with his brother, which makes them well worth the value. This is a really fun set because you can throw anyone in the dungeon to fight the skeletons and bad guys, like say Batman or Harry Potter, which has happened in our house hold. My nephew absolutely loved this for a gift for his birthday! I am not going to lie I was a little shocked to see how many Legos I guess not only this Minecraft Lego set comes with, but I was told that other Lego sets for Minecraft actually only make something very tiny compared to what it looks like on the box! If you can get this on sale for 22.49 or similar (like I did during Prime Days) than this is a steal. Not only does it look fun to play, with moving parts and four mini-figs, it an exceptional set to buy for the parts. And it's a great deal. To buy these exact 364 parts, piece by piece, it'll cost you over $60, including shipping. To buy a new, sealed set will cost you retail plus shipping. And the parts are "neutral" colors that can easily be repuposed for other builds. I might have to buy another set at $22. At 34.99, it's still a decent Lego set for the same reasons. But I never buy Lego for full price. ... show more
