This was a pain in the butt to put together and we went through a lot of hex bars because the screws were so hard to get in, they kept stripping. It is semi wobbly even with everything nice and tight in place. The slide was made to have a piece across the bottom that hurts my son’s butt every time he uses it. Go ahead and spend a little more to get a better quality bed.

I bought this bed for soon to be rambunctious 4 yr old. Dad was going to wait until mattress arrived, but the little guy found it! Insisted he and dad build his bed! They was able to build it in a couple hours. Dad did go buy a sheet of plywood, as he was afraid that the slats just wouldn't give enough support for the mattress. He said it was as a precaution. The slide isn't as steep, and it's extremely secure to the bed. I have a VERY happy 4 yr old grandson who absolutely LOVES LOVES L O V E S his new bed!!!!

Both our 2 and 4 year old love this bed. We have reinforced the bottom and added stairs to make sturdier but overall I think this product is a great value.
