The bed itself was pretty easy to put together, though there are parts where having 2 people is pretty necessary. There’s a bit more movement in it than we expected, but still a quality bed! We did have some damage to a part of them bed that based on our doorbell footage was from the delivery itself. However when we reached out to Amazon customer service the seller offered us reassurance that it was not damage that would affect the stability and still gave us a partial refund even though it was likely not a manufacturer issue. Bed frame arrived very damaged. Gave me extra of one board and missing another that was similar in size, so I was able to make do. Instructions say to use tiny screws to screw the boards into the metal frame. No guide holes in the metal frame or boards for the screws. I had to use epoxy to glue down the second from the top step because it slipped easy under my weight. Bed frame when built per instructions is slightly askew due to the guiding holes misaligned and doesn't fit one of the desk boards. Instructions are clear and the pieces are mostly labeled. However, there were some pieces that were wrapped together with different labels on the part, so beware. The Bed frame itself is sturdy, but the desk portion is very poor quality. The mini closet under the top step is very small and unable to hang a normal sized shirt in there without the bottom resting on the board below. Doesn't shake too much when you're on the bed itself and there isn't much noise when you move around on it. Takes roughly 12 hours to build and I'd suggest building it with the room clear enough to be able to lay the bed frame down lengthwise on it. One person can build this if they can lift around 30-50lbs max. ... show more
