Thin material but not see through, the fabric is lightweight. I’m 5 ft the dress reached all the way down to my toes but I just wore platform sandals and all was good. Cute dress for many compliments, wore it to my grandmothers 87th birthday BBQ and it was very comfortable. It was hot outside but the dress kept me fresh.

I really didn't have high expectations for this dress, I bought it on a whim looking for a dress to wear with my new cowboy boots. Pulling it out of the package I still wasn't sure, but when I tried it on, LOVE! Super silky. The smocking on top is flattering without being snug, which is great since I wear it to church where I assist with an autistic girl who is quite active and like to run away. At 5'6" and 150 lbs the length and fit of the medium dress is perfect. I get compliments on the dress every time I wear it.

I do love this dress - it’s so breezy, the color is delightful, and it’s super comfortable. Sadly it is a bit short waisted in the larger sizes esp if you have much of a bustline. (My friend has the same dress in a smaller size and it hits her waistline perfectly.) I’m finding that dresses of this style and provenance aren’t adjusted proportionally across the size range; they just cut it wider, which doesn’t make for an ideal fit. I usually wear it with a wide belt or else have to keep pulling the waistline down where it belongs before it creeps up again. Just something to be aware of.
