The media could not be loaded. This is a very nice siphon coffee maker. The quality of the components are very good and everything fits together and works great. The glassware is strong (although you still need to be careful with it because it is glass, after all) and the burner is an excellent upgrade. It runs on butane and produces an excellent flame that quickly gets the water up to a boil. All the necessary accessories are included, so you have everything you need to get started right out of the box. The coffee it produces is really "clean" - not bitter, burned, or sour in any way. And I'm surprised at how well the simple cloth filter keeps virtually all the grounds out of the finished coffee. The final cup reminds me of a nice pour-over. The brewing process is actually not complicated or time-consuming - and it is very impressive looking. Very high school chemistry lab! But clean up is more of a chore than other brewing methods and you need to be careful handling the glassware - I'm so nervous about leaving it out to dry and somebody knocking things over and breaking it. Aside from that, siphon coffee tastes great and is not difficult to make - just be careful with the glassware. I definitely recommend this siphon coffee maker because of its upgraded burner and high quality components. ... show more

As far as looks and esthetics, this type of coffee maker winds the gold. Its impressive, a conversation piece, and just flat out looks super cool!!! which is why i give it 4 stars. Now, the downsides are, its fragile and a little expensive so its not easy to just replace, its also kind of hard to clean so it takes more time and effort.
