Specifically designed for marine areas and conditions, Loctite PL Marine Fast Cure Adhesive Sealant is a fast setting, moisture cure polyether adhesive sealant that delivers strong bonds above or below the waterline once cured. This tough, paintable sealant dries white withstands both salt water and fresh water and does not shrink or bubble on damp surfaces. Loctite PL Marine Fast Cure Adhesive Sealant sets in just 30 minutes and fully cures in 24 hours for a watertight, flexible seal that’s ideal for through-hull fastening and deck fittings deck to hull joints, port lights, moldings, struts and planking and stem joints. Free of solvents, phthalates and isocyanates, Loctite PL Marine Fast Cure Adhesive Sealant stays permanently flexible and adheres to teak and other woods, fiberglass, vinyl, glass, FRP, metal, gelcoat, polycarbonate, and most plastics (test all plastic substrates for bond strength and compatibility before use).

I did a lot of tests with this stuff with goal of using for my shower. It passed all my tests well. This stuff has no odder. Superb. I scrubbed everything with mineral spirts and Used this product. You need a good quality caulking gun. This stuff is a little stiff but not bad, There is a learning curve to this so practice on something else so you know what your getting into. It sticks well and am hoping shower is good for years now. If you want to run your finger down it to smooth it out, use mineral spirts on you glove first and it will look good. For me now time will tell. Big note: This stuff adheres to epdm Rubber roof very well. after a week tryed pulling rubber apart and the plies of rubber split apart before the pl marine let go. very impressed. rubber roof must be very clean. ... show more

Had leak in pool that was losing 1/4" of water a day. Had divers out 3 times to find leak and they could not find it as it was so slow. Decided to try Loctite Marine around light and shazam, leak was fixed after one application.
