This product is awesome. I looked at some of the other door locks but to get wifi functionality you pay upwards of $200 or more and they do not come with a keypad/fingerprint scanner. The material is metal and feels like great quality. I have had no issues with connectivity or battery life after owning it a month. Both the lock and keypad still have 100% battery life. No drilling or replacing of current lock needed which is great for renters. The fingerprint scanner works super fast and it’s really easy to add other people and pins. Highly recommend.     • Lockin came through in the end!!!
I'm guessing they had a bad batch, because I went through three of these recently before contacting the manufacturer directly, explaining that the locks were failing to complete calibration. Kudos to them for sending out a replacement very quickly that lo and behold actually worked! Really glad I persevered because the lock looks and works great and the keypad with fingerprint sensor is fantastic! Will update if anything changes, but right now I'm a very happy camper. ... show more

    • Looks much nicer in the photos. Motor is noisy as noted by others.
Disappointments: * Lock and keypad instructions are vague - requires a bit of hunt-peck searching in the proprietary app and Alexa to make it all 'go'. * Construction is not robust: all plastic housing except metal mount to door. * Finish and physical design are not esthetically pleasing in person especially when installed - looks much better in the photos. * Chrome rectangle magnet for open-door sensor wasn't shown in photos and is another esthetic buzzkill. Working thru hide/coverup install options...found a way but not sure how it will do over time - it's a very strong magnet and may pull away from the door frame. Will see. * Motor is on the noisy side (as noted in other reviews). Successes: * This lock did accomplished the mission: multi-user smart lock utilizing existing deadbolt mechanism (house is rekeyable for rental option and keeping it 1-key consistent). * Lock meshed well with the existing bolt - operation is smooth. * Proprietary App works well. * Tech integrated well with Alexa on the phone app and in-house speaker group for voice control. * Installation took longer than expected (see 'vague' above) but was smooth - both physical and software related. * Bio Touch Keypad was a huge add and recommended as a new-purchase bundle or as an add-on if already a lock owner. Fingerprint reader works great! Present Conclusion: Good mid to mid-low priced option. Based on construction and esthetics I would look into other options before revisiting this one. Easy installation. Took awhile to setup to network and ALEXA but has held up very well. Been a little over a month with no problems or glitches. Will update in a few months.

    • 2 locks, 2 failed motors!
Bought this to turn our rental deadbolt into a smartlock. The install is fairly easy however the first lock could not be calibrated due to a failed motor. No problem, I ordered a replacement which arrived quickly. The new one worked..... for about a day. Whenever I tried to lock or unlock using any method besides manual (with the physical key), the deadbolt would beep and flash red and on the phone would say "Lock-tongue related alert is triggered." I tried to go through the recalibration process but it failed again, just look the first one did. I guess the motor/locking mechanism breaks super easily. Really disappointed because it is a good looking lock, but there's no point in owning it if it doesn't work. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Pros: Easy installation. Instruction guide is simple and straightforward. App also provides you easy step by step process to install the lock to your door. Works good with the Bluetooth. Good Quality material, looks sturdy. Forgeting to lock the door is not a major problem anymore, I now just lock it using the app. Connecting to wi-fi is quick and easy. Lock comes with the battery and so far they have been holding good. Didn't had to change the battery even after 1+ month continuous use. Cons: I felt it a bit on the noisy side sometimes while locking, which is not a major issue for me. ... show more

I needed a smart lock without changing the appearance of the door and that was also aesthetically pleasing. I have had several brands of locks and without a doubt this one has been the best for me. The fingerprint option works perfectly and I am very satisfied with this lock.
