I ordered one of these hats as a test because Amazon noted that it is a frequently returned item, often due to size. I consulted the chart they show on here, selected the appropriate size, and it fits great! I got a few compliments my first time wearing it out, so I ordered a few more colors. Addressing one complaint I saw, which is a very minor one, is the accessories with each hat were inconsistent. One came with feathers and pads to adjust for size, one came with feathers, and the others were just the hat. So, if you are counting on feathers to make the hat, be aware that they may or may not be there. Personally, I like to mix and match my feathers, so they were a bonus rather than a need.

I had plans with a friends to go to a Capone's themed dinner theater and wanted to dress the part. I'm always hesitant to by a hat online considering I have a bit larger head/hat size. But the cost was worth the gamble. This hat fit me great and the size can be adjusted on the inside of it to get the perfect comfort fit. I don't know why some people are saying that they had trouble finding the feathers. They are packed in a small envelope to help protect them, I had no problem seeing them. The packing of the hat is also great with a plastic inlay to protect the shape of it.
