If you're like me where your purchases depend on reviews, then hopefully my review can help you out. When this rug arrived it was in a small box and I was shocked because I ordered in 9x5 I was expecting something heavier and beefier..but upon opening I realized it was vacuum sealed-even then I was worried. I cut open the package laid out the rug and was like oh no. Imagine laying a towel down as a rug that's how thin this thing was. My dogs kept bunching it up as they walked across because it was so thin their little toes would catch on it and it would roll up. I looked at the little note and it said it would puff up within 48 hours, so I was thinking "okay let's see" cuz as it is now, it's not going to work. As the day went on I noticed it got puffier and squishier by the hour, by the time my husband got home and he walked in he thought he stepped on something because his foot just squished on down (his words) and then he said "oh nice rug". LOL by the second day it really was thick. It was soft it was plush it was beautiful. I now have two- one at my front door and one in my second living room. I would recommend this rug not only for the price but the quality. Do note, that the backing on this is like a fabric with little rubber knobs, I have mine on carpet and it stays in place I can't vouch how it will do on hardwood floors but I think it will do great there also. The fur is slippery-ish. What I mean is, if you're wearing socks, you can slide across it and honestly, you can't help doing it on purpose because it feels so good on your feet. It's a polyester feel VS. a cotton feel. I would definitely buy this again and probably will next Prime day!

I thought the rug would be kinda small, nope it has a very good length. An it's SUPER SOFT! This rug is so worth the money. Lol, my kids won't stop coming in my room to just lay on it b/c they said it's so comfortable. A MUST BUY!

The rug came air sealed and folded tightly. When I first opened it, I was not prepared. It has an awful smell to it which I suspect is from the dyes. I popped it in the washer on cold and air dried it for a day and that fixed the problem. It no longer smells weird. It is so far, very soft and fluffy. I’m almost afraid to walk on it because I don’t want to ruin it.

The rug has about ¼ inch foam backing with thin shag, very soft, silky and feather-like fibers on top. Pros: looks good and initially feels good on bare feet. Cons: the top of the rug might be too slippery for some people (the under side has grip dots), unlikely to hold up to moderate to heavy use since the materials are fair at best, pricey for what it is after seeing it. We shall see how long it lasts.

Instructions say this rug take 2-3 days to fluff but it actually took more days but looks normal now. This rug has almost zero padding and is not warm which a rug should be. Skid proof backing is good. Rug comes folded and shrink wrapped and lines stay after a few days. I suppose if you bought a pad for underneath it would suffice. But for the price it is usable and somewhat attractive.
