I purchased this rug just to make my hardwood floor living room seem a little more inviting and because my kid loves playing on it. The rug is not very thick but that's okay because for the price it's really not too bad. I would say the only complaint I have is that it does shed so you do see little black fuzz balls around the house and sometimes mistake them as spiders LOL. To clean it I vacuum it and that can sometimes be a little difficult as it's shag carpet so you have to go over it a lot with the vacuum. I'm giving this product four stars because I knew for the price it wouldn't be super thick and I knew that a shag carpet would shed a little bit. One thing I should mention is if you do vacuum this carpet make sure to check your roller brushes after every couple of vacuums because it does get caught up in there just like hair and you'll just have to clean it out like you normally do. If you're looking for a decent quality rug for a good price and don't expect anything amazing then this is good for you. Make sure that you expected to shed because it's going to shed and know that it can be a little difficult to clean. As far as smell goes when I first purchased it there was a slight smell but it really wasn't too bad after sitting out for a day it was fine I also use a disinfectant tide spray on mine after cleaning it just to give it a little extra scent.

When I first opened the vacuum sealed package, I was thinking no way this rug will work, I needed it to be thicker since it was going in my baby’s room, and we needed cushion to a hardwood floor. The packaging states it thickens within 48 hours. It really did, we felt a difference even the next day. It is cushy, and thick like I wanted and a heck of a lot cheaper than other store brands. It is huge too, which I love! It is also machine washable, which is super nice. Overall, I would buy again!!! I recommend to anyone looking for this type of rug. We have a high suctioning vacuum, with dual rollers, so normally with rugs I have to have my husband stand on the opposite side while I vacuum, and that was my big fear here- it isn’t an issue here at all. I can vacuum with no problem with my vacuum!!!

It’s a stylish carpet. If you’re thinking the rug is going to be thick it won’t. Lightly pressing on it you’ll think it’s cushioned enough, but stepping on it full body weight you’re basically just walking on a really soft version of your floor. Its just flat. It’s just soft bc of the fur. It’s high maintenance so my roommates and I take turns brushing and vacuuming the rug. No shoes on the rug because it’ll mess it up and we’re trying to preserve the white color and material. We simply just don’t want a dirty carpet. Decent for dorm in low traffic area (I have it in-between my bed and the my roommates bed). It’s cute def buy it if you want things to look stylish. If you’re looking for comfort for your feet… this rug is not the one. I was looking for style and it’s perfect for me and my dorm.

This rug was just what I needed for my bedroom as I hate to cover my tile floor. It seems to be well made, the non-slip backing holds it well in place, but I'd rate it more on the scale of a bath rug as it's not very padded or thick. It does feel good on bare feet though!

But it’s for my room so I didn’t have to step on a cold floor. They are very thin. There is a semi rubberized bottom that is supposed to be nonstick, but it is not nonstick. They move all around the floor when you walk they are extremely lightweight and get married when you walk on them. Nothing that it easy shake wouldn’t fix. They serve the purpose, but if you’re looking for something substantial that stays in place, this wouldn’t be it. These are not rugs that you can vacuum. They are too lightweight. Great in a pinch, helped absorb a little bit of noise and works if you don’t want to step on a cold floor when you get out of bed.

This rug is Beautiful and so amazingly soft!! I love how it feels on my feet, my cats love it, it stays put and doesnt roll up on the ends. I have used the vaccuum on it and had no issues, as far as stain resistance I gave it a 5 because i expect it is as usual for a rug of this material. This rug is gorgeous and I have had several people just this week ask where I got it,so I give it a 5- Star hands down!!!

This rug is in front of the back door and the dog food. Other than the fact that our dogs drop food in it and I can't see the food and step on it I love the rug. It is large and soft and it has been washed a couple of times in the washing machine and looks just like it did when I purchased it.
