Some of the reviews had me doubting this rug. I think all the other shaggy types are going to be the same. So I went with this one for the $20 off. It's soft. Not super thick but has a little cushion to it. It's definitely NOT like standing on the hard floor. It does have a chemical type smell but I febreezed it and by the end of the day it was gone. This rug just feel’s expensive under your feet. It brings a nice decor to the room, and is so soft to the touch. It was packaged in a small box and unfolded into a wonderful addition to this room.

Like a lot of products on this website, you get what you pay for. The fibers are long and hard to clean so I would say plan for a clean area to put it on, that doesnt need frequent cleaning. It is very very soft. So soft, it feels kinda slippery and weird on the feet. I use it to sit on the floor so it's fine for me. It is rather thin but what would you expect at this pricepoint. To whoever reads this I am not lying that it is the best rug I have ever bought. This rug has like a memory foam and it feels great. Not like the other plain rugs. You need to buy so you can experience how soft it is. It is also great for dogs when they ju.p from the couch to the rug. I bought the big one. Although I knew what I was getting into buying a primarily white carpet, this one is very hard to clean and does not wear well. We have it placed under our couch and only after a few weeks, it was clear to see the spots that we sit in the most based on the wear to the carpet. The black decals turned grey, the white looks dirty, and the carpet itself is now very flat and looks odd.
