This rug is so soft and fuzzy! It came vacuum-packed in a small bag - much smaller than the 8x10 size it is! and I was worried that the folds wouldn't flatten, but they did with no trouble. The rug doesn't have much padding, but since most of it is under the bed it really doesn't matter. It stretches to either side of the bed and that's what we wanted -something to step on as we get out of bed. The dogs LOVE the fuzziness - the little one likes to hang out under the bed in her own little spot of luxury, lol! Vacuuming the rug lifts the knap in different directions for a real "shag" look. I wanted something soft and warm to step onto in the morning and this did the job. My dog likes to lay on it too. I expected a bit more of a solid cushion but it does the job and feels nice against the feet.

I do like this rug, and they are soft enough to be able to machine wash. However... Vacuuming doesn't work very well on them very well so I have to be extra careful not to get debris on them. Things stick to this carpet like crazy due to the material. I don't regret getting it, but I do wish it would be more vacuum friendly! ... show more
