  • Totally impressed.
Color: Black
Update 2: someone posted that theirs wasn’t charging their LP-E6NH. Thats the same battery I use and I haven’t had a problem. It works great. Update: I’ve been using this for the last 3 months. It’s held up great with no issues. It charges batteries up fast using my cars usb c port or usb c adapters. It won’t charge on my larger Mac 60w usb c adapter, but will running another usb c from the Mac while charging. Wasn’t expecting much but was impressed. I was looking for a two battery charger with usb-C compatibility. Something more compact than my Manfrotto ProCube which is also great. Although this not really smaller than the ProCube, it’s a more packable form factor for my bag and not being metal (it has a rubberized like coating) it won’t scratch other items if not given its own dedicated cell or bag within my pack like the ProCube. It also can use my USB-C cables that I bring for my laptop or Anker Mag Go 3-in-1 charger reducing my clutter. I chose this over others for the display and ability to see how much charge each battery had. Anyway it arrived and I wasn’t expecting too much from a brand I’ve never heard of. The packaging was so-so. The charger looks like and takes a cue from an apple AirPod case with the metal hinge and magnetic closure. The display is bright and easy to read. It charges very quickly and is relatively compact. There is an SD card storage slot for no real reason I can think of. Perhaps they felt this could be something someone could take with their camera in lieu of a camera bag? I don’t trust the magnets to carry my batteries around dangling by the included wrist strap though. So this now goes with me and the ProCube stays on the shop counter. ... show more

  • The low ratings are from people who can't see the forest for the trees...
Color: Black
TL;DR... What this is: A great option to charge 2 batteries at one time before tossing it your bag as extra batteries for long days of shooting... with a screen to show charging progress, and indicate which battery is low or dead after you've made the swap... and will even hold an extra SD card for you! Don't let the people complaining deter you. Sure it would be awesome if it would charge wirelessly too, but then it would cost at least $100 more AND be considerably larger, taking up way more space in a camera bag which is heavy and packed enough already. It's like being upset and not eating your birthday cake because the cake doesn't have the ability to feed itself to you so you can eat hands-free. People are also upset that it didn't come with its own charger. Why? You should have extra chargers... especially since its the SAME CABLE that charges the mirrorless camera they probably have that made them consider this item in the first place! Also, modern laptops, notebooks, Android OS phones and tablets, Apple MacBooks, iPads, iPhones, Kindle, portable chargers (which could easily charge this, and your phone or tablet on the go), the Nintendo Switch, Xbox controllers, Playstation controllers, headphones, earbuds, portable speakers, microphones, mouse and keyboard combos, docking stations, desktop monitors, Echo, HomePod, Nest, Roku remotes, smart glasses and pretty much every other up-to-date piece of tech... EVEN household items such as power scrubbers, food thermometers, human thermometers, electric carving knives, indoor security cameras, personal grooming items like hair clippers, rechargeable tools, handheld vacuums RGB lights, can openers, food scales, kids toys, hearing aids, massager guns, heating pads, portable fans, portable hand warmers, flashlights and the list goes on. You mean to tell me you can't find a USB-C cable to spare? Lol My point is, before I bought this item, I would have to carry extra batteries that don't have a dual case so they float all around my bag and I couldn't tell which was dead or charged and wasted valuable seconds missing shots if I guessed wrong, the SINGLE battery charger (which has to be plugged into a wall anyway... so you're better of charging two at a time with this), OR a cable to charge the battery inside of the camera... meaning I couldn't also use the camera. This is a brilliant product. I love it! 10/10 recommend! ... show more

  • An aesthetic replacement for the stock charger An aesthetic replacement for the stock charger
Color: Black
This charger with camera aesthetics has multiple improvements over the standard charger. First it charges batteries very fast, two LP-E6NH can be charged in as little as 2 hours, depending on if your power supply delivers 18W. The case also serves as a storage box for your batteries and displays their remaining power if you click the button. Additionally, they left a little space for an SD card. I would've preferred if they left space for an USB cable, although the cable can fit in the magnetic lid when no batteries are in the case. The lid protects your batteries and SD from dust and sand; however, it is probably not weather-resistant. The charger looks and feels very nicely made and is a pretty addition on every photography shelf. They also surely didn't cheap out on accessories: It comes with a bag, a wrist strap (for whenever you feel the need to walk around with a battery charger, I guess), and of course a USB cable. Unfortunately, a power plug is not supplied. Let's cut to the negative: The charger is clunky and heavy. It has the size of an EOS R50 and adds 6oz to your camera bag (the weight of 2 batteries). Additionally for a Chinese product, it is rather expensive, given that they don't even supply a power plug. Therefore, I deduct 1 star. Overall, besides the negative points I recommend the charger, as it saves you a lot of charging time and it just looks great. You can find it a little cheaper if you order from Chinese marketplaces. ... show more

  • The best Canon battery charger that I’ve found The best Canon battery charger that I’ve found
Color: Black
I am a wildlife photographer and I recharge multiple batteries almost every day. While the OEM chargers that come with Canon cameras work fine, they only charge one battery at a time and this charger chargers the batteries faster. This charger not only charges two batteries at the same time, it does so with a digital display showing the percentage of charge left in each battery. I find that handy to avoid re-charging a battery that is already at 85% or 90%. In addition, it has a lid that closes to secure the batteries inside for travel, which I find very functional when I charge the batteries while in my vehicle. Mine came with a protective pouch for travel as well. I tried a few other types of after market chargers before I found this one, but those did not perform as well. I highly recommend this charger. ... show more

  • This works ... GREAT!
Color: Black
Wife absolutely LOVES this little gadget! She used to carry two of the single Canon chargers around, now she can use the one little guy, it all tucks into that cute little carrying case, we always have a USB adapter with us, it shows where the percentage is on the charge ... yup, total game changer! The other Canon chargers, you had to have one entire plug in free, this ... you can do on the go as well! And it looks like a camera too ... that's the fun part! It does take time to charge the batteries up to full charge, but doesn't all batteries take time? I do know she's got 8 different batteries for her camera, because you can't pause life to charge your batteries. She uses a battery grip, so it's always 2 to change and charge. I know when she shoots high school basketball or other games, she's always got a spare, usually doesn't have to change but ... :D Well worth the money, happy wife is happy life ... and especially when it comes to her photography, and she knows what works, and does not purchase things that don't work ... this is one of the mainstays in her bag too! ... show more

  • Does not work.
Color: Black
As the title says, this does not do what it claims to. The one thing it's supposed to do, which is charge batteries. I believe it will charge them partially but not to 100%. For reference, I was using it for the new Canon R5 Mark ii batteries (LP-E6P), which it claims to be able to charge. When I'd put the 1 OR 2 batteries in it, it would say it was at 100% and no longer charge. My camera and other charger confirm they are not charged fully. At the time of writing this, the charger is $59.95 or so and doesn't work. I see a lot of other chargers that look the same but rebranded, so I'll avoid those too. These chargers are a waste of money. I'm returning it and I recommend no one buys it. ... show more

  • Portable Charger Is So Helpful
Color: Black
I bought this with the bundle of the power bank paired with it. There's not really a use for this charger without the power bank for me. It does NOT charge without being connected to a power source, which is why I bought the power bank. It will work with any other power bank as long as you have a USB C connection for this charger. That being said, I love having this in my backpack when I'm out shooting. I used to shoot until my battery completely died, but sometimes that would be troublesome. With this, I can wait until I get low and catch a quick break to swap my batteries and throw this one in the charger. It charges my batteries pretty fast as well, which is also so good. I don't ever have to worry about having enough battery power anymore when I'm on a long shoot. I definitely recommend this (and a power bank) to have on hand, if anything, for peace of mind. ... show more

  • Nice 1st try...STILL NEEDS WORK!!!!
Color: Black
This charger does not fair well with the older Canon OEM batteries. Display reflected one battery at 100% (actual camera reading 45%) second battery 100% (actual camera reading 89%). Now...when using two Llano LP-E6 batteries my 5D Mark IV only was able to communicate with only one of the two batteries. Very well made product from a construction perspective. However, I do not consider the charger to be very reliable or accurate. My old Micro/Type A dual chargers will have to stay in service until I can find a better USB C charger. Bummer!!!! Nice 1st try try Llano! Please keep working on the electronics that can navigate the different "mah" specifications within the LP-E6 battery type. ... show more
