It would also get hot and i was always worried whether or not that was normal. I decided to buy this cooling pad because it was one of the very few i could find that was sealed around the edges, meaning it does not waste air current. The cooling pad arrived in great condition. Upon taking it out of the box, right away i noticed how good the quality was. It did not look cheap like other pads i have purchased in the past. This one was sturdy and when it is on, it immediately cools down my laptop to the point where the fans on the laptop stop spinning since its getting more than enough cool air going into the laptop. I have a razor 18 that has a nvidia 4090 and man this laptop runs hot . This cooling pad has reduced how hot it runs by a good 10 degrees . Would highly recommend it. It is loud though !

The media could not be loaded. I love how the ports can sync to my laptop plus it drops my temps to atleast 10 degrees while playing warzone 4k 120hz. I have a 3080 i9 64gb ram. 4tb. It’s like made exactly for Alienware. I mean same design and all but I would definitely recommend this to all laptop users. It’s a must. The noise dosnt bother me when I have my open back headphones on. And the mic I use dosnt pick it up. Very well made. I think this is a product that will last for years. This replaced my standard laptop stand! Not only does this device elevate my laptop & provide an angled keyboard (when it's back legs are folded down) it also provides EXCELLENT cooling (see photo) When I use my laptop without this device, CPU temperatures can reach 135°F before the internal fan switches on - as shown by my temp monitoring software. With this great little cooler running on its lowest fan setting, I achieve temps around 86°F ! The fan has a speed control (see photo) that goes from '300' (the lowest setting) up to a roaring '2800' (the highest setting) When I adjust the fan speed above '1200' the front of my laptop actually lifts up from the air pressure! I know my little Lenovo V14 is a small laptop but this thing moves some serious air. A 17" laptop (or larger) would easily fit on top of this cooler, it's quite sturdily made. The gasket/foam that seals to the bottom of the laptop is removable and is no doubt washable - a dense and soft foam rubber was used for its constituents. Using the included USB cable, I was able to connect to the USB hub that is built into the right hand side of this device (see photo) and gain 3 USB ports - they are USB 2 class apparently, which is fine for a mouse dongle or flash drive. An foam air filter is installed on the intake, located on the underside of the device - an extra filter is also provided. The power adapter to power this device has about 5' of cord to reach my powers strip under my table, so it stays out of the way. As if the cooling effect wasn't enough to make an impression, there is also a nice lighting effect that surrounds the periphery of the cooler. Solid or pulsing, flashing colors can be selected via the control panel as pictured. It's a great night light for my kitchen when I'm working in the dark - easy on the eyes and just bright enough to see items on my table. This device is just a crazy good value at its price point! I could build one myself this good for twice the cost. The item photos of this device are kinda unclear but make no mistake...look at my photos and check this thing out...it's really something. In addition, it comes with RGB and other adjustable lights that create a cool and immersive atmosphere when playing games or listening to music. Although the fan noise is a bit loud when the speed is turned up, it is still within an acceptable range. Most of the time, I just set it to medium speed and the laptop can maintain a constant and comfortable temperature. This is very helpful for its lifespan.
