    • Solid build

Review Image by Matthew phelps
I recently purchased the PICTRON Live Broadcast Boom Arm for my outschool classes, and I must say, I am incredibly impressed with this product. It's a game-changer for anyone who wants to take their live streaming, voice recording, podcasting, or webcam game to the next level. This boom arm is incredibly easy to install, and its flexible desk mount clamp design makes it perfect for mounting on any surface. The arm is fully adjustable and can be easily positioned for optimal recording and streaming angles, making it perfect for a variety of uses. The build quality is excellent and feels very sturdy, holding my camera and light firmly in place without any wobbling or sagging. The arm is also compatible with other microphones, webcams, cameras, and LED lights, making it a versatile accessory for any content creator. Overall, I highly recommend the PICTRON Live Broadcast Boom Arm to anyone who wants to take their content creation to the next level. It's an excellent product that delivers on its promises, and it has become an essential part of my setup. Give it a try and see for yourself! ... show more

    • Very heavy duty and sturdy!
Style: LS01
This is a very heavy duty stand and it is super sturdy. I took the clamp off and screwed it directly onto my desk and it is rock solid. However before I did that, I clamped it and it was just as sturdy. I just wanted it to be permanently mounted to the desk. The screws to the clamp were easy to remove and it was very easy to mount to the desktop. The arms included make for a wide variety of configurations and each are very strong and adjustable. The build quality is outstanding and the mount features are fantastic. I highly recommend. ... show more

    • Good for desktop streaming, needs some small tweaks
Style: LS01
This is well thought out and a good value for desktop streaming/recording. Packaging was nicely padded and all components arrived in excellent condition. The parts fit together nicely - no issues with imprecise threading. Ball head for the camera is very nice and locks securely. Works fine for mirrorless cameras and should be fine for DSLRs. Because of the arm sizes and articulation there is some amount of fiddling needed to get everything in the proper place, especially if you are used to friction arms or more flexible mounts. All the needed attachments are included. One note related to the softbox: depending on what you use you may need an extra elbow to get it to point in the proper direction. Mine needs to be pointed down, but the included mount is just a post (totally fine) and the joint on my softbox only bends 90 degrees. I have one small ding: the mounting clamp that attaches the whole thing to the desk needs two screws instead of one. You really have to crank this one hard to make the whole thing stable, and it can still wiggle with desk movement. This becomes more pronounced when you add larger components. I use a 12x18 LED softbox and it puts a good deal of horizontal strain on the main column. A more stable base would help. Overall this is a good product and is great for people without space for tripods, C-stands, and bulky grip equipment. ... show more

    • Almost Perfect Desk Camera, Microphone and Video Panel Mount
Style: LS01
I was very surprised at the build quality of this product. Product is all aluminum with a very sturdy clamp base , ,main post mount and arms. Lots of versatile options , however could of been better given the price point. Here are some of my issues. Top of main post mount does have 1/4 thread, but they don't include the screw, bought a separate 1/4 to 1/4 male tripod screw. They do include one quick release ball mount, but should of included another Mini Ball Head with this unit given the three arm mounts. Finally, the arm for the microphone boom should of come with an option to mount a light or camera , however it does not. Microphone boom does have a 3/8" threaded end , again no adapter to reduce down the size for camera or light mount. Again this is a good overall mount that could of been made perfect with a couple of additional accessories gives the high price point of this item. ... show more

    • Good but quite flimsy when fully equiped with camera and mic and accessory.
Style: LS01
Due to the arms being hollow they tend to twist and droop at certain angles. Also the springs on the Microphone arm are barely strong enough to hold a Yeti Mic and tends to droop down. Also when ever you have to make a mike adjustment the whole rig giggles and moves around and not really conducive to a live camera / streaming environment. Also its quite awkward to try and find the perfect position for 3 things and adjusting them is quite the pain due to having to figure out 3 different arms and positions and if decide you want one arm high but its at the bottom of the stack you have to take all of the arms above it off to do so. It was worth a shot and for a very fixed setup and likely one lacking a monitor behind it this may be good for some people. ... show more

    • Only as sturdy as the table it is attached to
Style: LS01
This desk mount is excellent! Keep in mind, it is only as sturdy as the desk that you attach it to. It does not work well with a plastic flimsy lifetime table. I upgraded to a proper desk and it works beautifully! It saves space on my desk, looks great, and is super convenient.

For the cost and what I need it for - 5 stars. The arms do bounce a bit when in use. Holds a camera, mic, and light with ease. Mounted to 1/3” glass.
