Hey everyone, Mike Jones here again with another quick and concise Amazon review. So up today we have the Live and Sleep Resort Ultra 12-Inch Queen Size. This item is hands down the best bang for the buck foam mattress you can find on Amazon. I rarely give any item 5 stars but 6 months after owning this item it still is a 5 star product. I was looking for a new bed and I knew I wanted a foam mattress, no box springs, and I wanted about a medium comfort setting. I went and posted up on a bunch of Tempur-pedic beds and I decided the medium setting is the one for me. And while the TP beds are awesome, the one that I wanted was $6,000 dollars. So, after about a solid month of searching, I decided to roll the dice and purchase this bed. And as I said, 6 months later and I am still loving it. It showed up, all 60lbs and all, and after I cut it open I put it in place in my bed frame and washed the top layer comforter in some light bleach. There was virtually no smell (which I read was a big concern for people) but I did let it air out in an open windowed room for at least 12 hours before I slept on it. It took about 24 hours for it to fully inflate but once it did I put the top layer back on, some new sheets, and crashed on it. Now, here is the funny part. I read from other reviewers that it took a few nights to get used to it and that their body hurt for a few nights and for me... this was absolutely true. I had incredible back pain for the first 3 days after I slept on this thing and all I could think about was what a f***** waste of money this was. Then, on the 4th night, I slept like a log and woke up feeling completely refreshed. Since then, no back pain at all and I get great sleeps. No joke, for the first 2 months after I bought this, every night when I was about to go to sleep I genuinely got excited about getting in bed. My girlfriend loves this bed as well! I rotate the mattress once a month and it has never deformed or broken down. The bed is a perfect blend of support and softness and it hasn't faded or become lumpy at all. I put this in an Ikea bed frame and I paid extra for the upgrade lattice support. You want to put this mattress on a firm support (like the ground) and if you have slats that are too spaced out the bed will sink into it. Make sure you get a solid base to put this mattress on, trust me it's worth it! The ONLY downside to this bed is that the corners are rounded. It's not a big deal, but it just means that it doesn't fit snug in my rectangular ass bed frame. The pros: Amazing comfort, incredible price, no odor, and it was delivered in a box to my front door! What more can you ask for?!?!? The cons: The mattress has rounded corners which does not fit flush in my rectangular bed frame. The overall: This mattress is perfect (for me) and I love the combination of plushness and support. If it lasts even 3 years then it's totally worth the money because for $500 you can just go buy a new one. I WOULD DEFINITELY buy this product again! I hope you enjoyed this quick review. I bought a king size version of this mattress in April of 2016, and it has been one of the best mattresses I have ever slept on for the value! I am one of those people who has to research ALOT of reviews before I buy. I wanted a memory foam mattress that would keep its hold after time and not sleep hot. Im happy to say that this mattress has met both of those points! When the box arrived it was heavy and recommended 2 people carry it, but i didn't have anyone else at home and managed to shimmy it up a flight of stairs by myself (20something female-moderately active) But I don't necessarily recommend doing this alone! Once I unpacked the mattress, there was that slight smell that everyone talks about, but it didn't bother me much and dissipated by the next day. The mattress inflated to full-size almost immediately. I jumped on it to test it out and it felt soft/bouncy, but regained its shape quickly. I was worried b/c she i sat on the edge of the bed (like when your putting socks on) I sank pretty quickly ( I didn't want that feeling for sleeping). However, after the first night sleep, I actually thought the mattress might be a little to firm, although it was pretty comfortable. But after a couple days of sleeping on it, it became perfect! I am 5'6 and a little fluffy- sometimes I can sleep hot, but that is never the case with this mattress. Although its memory foam, whenever I'm sleeping on it I don't sink in. And I liked it so much I eneded up buying the queen size of this same mattress July 2016 for my boyfriend's house because I couldn't get comfortable sleeping on his bed after having this version at my house! To this day we still have both beds and neither bed has lost its shape or comfort. Seriously a great buy! *** I will note at the time of purchase they were offering a free pillow included- With the first mattress I bought the pillow that came with it never inflated to its correct shape. It was more like a bumpy bath mat. Very sad! But with the second mattress I purchased, the pillow that came was completely normal. So I don't know if it was just a fluke or if other people had this experience. I didn't bother with contacting customer service over it so not sure if they would have replaced it.

I bought this mattress for my husband and I bought myself a tuft and needle. I ended up returning the tuft and needle and buying another one of these because the tuft and needle was extremely plush without support. This mattress is perfect because the top layer has a soft foam and if you ever want to switch it up and lay on something a bit more firm then all you have to do is take off the pad and switch it over to lay on the other side. That way it is actually much firmer and gives you the support you really need. I don't know if anyone else has done this but I wanted to try it and I was very pleased. This mattress is amazing and I hope it lasts a very long time. Also the pillows are great you get a pillow with each mattress. I loved them so much I bought two additional ones for my parents for Christmas. This bed and pillow are perfect for any sleep position. I sleep on my side and I wake up without any issues. I cannot express how thankful I am to have this pillow because I suffer from extreme neck pain and ever since I got this pillow I wake up without any issues. I highly suggest trying out this mattress and especially the pillow. I have tried multiple different memory foam beds and pads and also many different pillows.. this pillow is amazing and I'm pretty sure I would have a hard time finding one better. Approx 1yr Update. The mattress has kept it's firmness and feels brand new. I still have it on an adjustable platform. The pillows are amazing and still feel the same from when I got them.. Ended up buying a few more for Xmas gifts.
