So the toy is cute but the noises is makes are kind of weird and it honestly creeped my daughter out and she was over the toy pretty fast. At 3 1/2 she said “mommy this thing is kind of weird, I don’t like it”… so unfortunately, we returned it.

These stretchy figures really are the best! All four of my kids love them and play with them daily. They're really more of a "keep my hands busy" kind of toy; since they're really not the type of figurines kids would play with in a playset, for example. But that doesn't mean these stretchy guys aren't a world of fun! We've had at least 5 stretchy figures from this brand over the years and I promise you they are incredibly durable. If any children were capable of busting these toys and creating an icky, sticky mess, I promise it would be my gang. But much to our surprise, these toys have held up amazingly well. My kids would tell you they're a ton of fun and worth every penny. Even my pre-teens (who have long grown out of childhood toys) still fidget with them constantly. I bought the sloth for my nephew the first one I bought came with a hole in one of the arms, so I sent it back.: I get the new one and we pull it out of the packaging he picks it up and stretched the arms and low and behold it has another hole in one of the arms.. I’m unsure if it’s just the sloth or all of them.. I hope if you buy this toy , I would check it because it’s weird that is happened to the same arm and the same toy.. ... show more

My son loves this little guy! Not only is he fun to stretch and fling around but he makes adorable sound effects and his eyes auto-shut and open when you turn him upside down like a baby dolls. It’s a fun little toy.

This toy is interesting... it's got a strange but satisfying squish to it. The material is soft but not sticky. I have an Australian shepherd and two fluffy cats, none of their hair sticks to it which is a huge plus because I usually skip toys like this since they end up hairy messes. This little guy is cute, but I can't get him to "hug" no matter how many different ways I manipulate his arms. I get the hands latched and then the moment I let go they fling apart, as if the hands need to be a more rigid material Thankfully my toddler doesn't mind, he just loves to push its tongue and listen to the eating sound (though all the sounds do seem a little muffled but for such a cheap price I'm not expecting perfection). I had to ding a star for it not holding a hug... it isn't something that bugs me at all, BUT the name is literally HUG n hang. ... show more

Update: I have been having some difficulties getting this to stay in its hanging spots. This little monkey is absolutely adorable. And a bit bigger than I’d anticipated. Not a finger toy. I haven’t heard 70 sounds yet, but there is a good variety. It blinks. When you turn it upside down it falls asleep. And snores. So, as long as it is on, it makes noise. Even when you’re not touching it, the sounds continue. Great for kids. Might drive adults a little nuts after a time. It hangs fairly easily from many surfaces, but I had a hard time getting it to stay on my arm. Batteries are included, but will eventually need to be changed. A wrench will be needed, which is not included. My guess is this toy will entertain children for hours. It is very stretchable. Adults could love it too. It looks cute hanging off my wooden chair. Adults might like to use it for stress relief. It is so unbelievably squishy. It’s like a stress ball with a cute face. ... show more
