I weigh only 110 lbs, am now down to 4'11". Yes, I do work out, but on the other hand I remain much weaker than before due to weight loss from an illness followed by a major set-back when my car was T-boned. I can fold this and open it easily, move it slowly with care, position it, and even take it up and down stairs (one stair at a time). I can even reach the side bars of the handle to hold on as I climb. The stability it seems to offer me is worth it! These things were all of concern to me before I ordered, and it seems to be working out better than I expected. FYI: I can't carry it as per the video, but do find places to grab it. Thank you to previous reviewer who suggested velcro to keep everything together when moving it. I had a piece around, and it made a big difference! While I wish it were a few pounds lighter (but I understand many others need the extra strength), I just tried it many places around the house, and it seems the best step ladder we could find for me. I actually saw this ladder at the grocery store I go to. I took note of the name and ordered it online through Amazon. At my age, I should not be climbing ladders. However, it is just a necessity when trying to find things or put things away. I absolutely love this ladder. The one bar flips up and you can place various tools on top. This is a really nice ladder. I see only two things that somewhat bother me. This ladder does not lock when closed or open. So when trying to transport it. It’s a bit awkward if you grab it in the wrong spot it will try to open. The second thing that I am not too amused by is the feet on this ladder. They are just plastic. I setup this ladder on my vinyl plank floor and it was slippery and sliding around. I would prefer a hard rubber for the feet to prevent this. ... show more
