Just processed 3.5 gallons of honey with this. It worked good, but would have worked a bit better if it had elastic at the top to hold it up around the rim of the bucket. I had to have someone else hold up the filter or else it would have just fallen down in the bucket.

We got this even though the bee store said "it takes long and it's a lot of work, and it's not necessary., etc.".....WHAT A LIFESAVER this turned out to be! We were going to just do linen or muslin, but forgot about the lint problem that would create. We spoke to other beeple and got answers all over the place on whether this is necessary for final strain on extraction. I'm glad we did it anyway. We ran the honey through the metal strainers twice which has two different gauges. This is 400 and it really clears the end product up. It didn't take long to get through this last filter if the honey was strained for wax and debris in the metal strainers 1st. This thing was stretched over a 5 gallon bucket and maintained integrity with no stretching, tears or other malfunctions. We haven't tried to clean it all the way yet because we're still doing frames. But even if it is disposed of after one season....worth every red cent. Highly recommended. ... show more
