    • WOW! This stuff is amazing!!
First off…WOW! I am more than pleased with the results I got when using this spray on my Jeep windows! I was a little hesitant to purchase this product since the reviews were so mixed, some singing praises for this product and others stating that it did not work at all or made their car windows fog up even more. But, I really needed a solution for my soft top Jeep’s foggy windows, as my visibility was dangerously low at times. So I did some research about this product and decided to give it a shot, using my findings to develop a proper technique for application. My results were AMAZING! No fog at all and, at the worst of times, the only thing I notice is a slight foggy film on parts of the window-worlds better from my extremely foggy windows before. Here’s the process I used to yield my results, in case it’d be helpful to anyone reading this: 1) Clean off the interior of the windows with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel. Buff in a circular motion and make sure there are no streaks. 2) Once the alcohol dries (which should be almost instantaneously) spray a couple of sprays of the product onto a new paper towel and also have a clean, dry paper towel close by. 3) Apply the spray in circular motions on one section of the glass and buff out the product using the dry paper towel, making sure to buff out any streaks. 4) Repeat steps 2&3 until you have applied the product to the whole window and voilà! Enjoy your new fog free windows! Bottom line: I was nervous about trying this product but I am so glad I did! I now have much better visibility when driving and feel much safer while on the road! ... show more

    • Not a window cleaner.
When you see a lot of low star reviews, read them. Often times it's people that have no idea what they're doing or how to use the product they bought. This product is no exception. Seems like most of the reviews are from people that don't know how to read or follow instructions. This is not a window cleaning product. If you use it to clean your windows and also expect it to work as advertised, it won't. You have to actually clean your windows first. Really clean. Then apply this stuff and buff it in. There's a ton of videos on YouTube, which some of the lazy and uninformed should have looked at before buying. With that being said, this product is amazing. I went from foggy windows in my truck in the morning to clarity almost overnight. I was so happy with the results that I also did the mirrors on the bathroom vanity and the small mirror in the shower. Hot showers on cold mornings no longer result in foggy mirrors. Take your time with it. Put in the little bit of extra effort to do the job right the first time. The bottle isn't huge, but you really don't need a lot to get the job done as long as you do the job correctly. ... show more

    • Works but leaves glass really greasy.
After applying it the glass needs to be wiped down a bunch of times. Even then the glass is still a little streaky and greasy.

Purchased a full glass screen door and needed something to prevent it from fogging up with temperature changes. It didn't work. Love rainx products but this didn't work on my application

    • Exactly what I needed!
The heater/defroster in my car stopped working and it was almost impossible to get the windows to defog in the morning. I cleaned my windows really well, applied a decent layer of this stuff, let it dry, then used a clean paper towel to buff the film away. Worked like a charm! My windows were crystal clear this morning! Worth every penny. UPDATE: one week later and there seems to be an odd film on my windshield. It didn't show up until about 2 days after using this stuff. My driver and passenger windows do not have the film but my windshield does. I'm going to clean it a few times and try to apply this stuff again to see what happens. Not sure why it worked so well on the other windows but not my windshield! Will post another update after I give it another shot. ANOTHER UPDATE: it's been about 2 months since my last update and I think I've got this stuff figured out! After cleaning my windshield again really well to remove the film, I reapplied this stuff the same way I did originally but buffed twice as much as the first time. They were crystal clear for about a month until it started to wear off! So I just did the same thing and it lasted about another month. So if you clean your windows REALLY well prior to applying this stuff, then buff the film off REALLY well after applying, it should last about a month before it starts to wear off and you slowly notice it fogging. This is the most effort I've ever put into a $5 Amazon product review but I hope it helps someone lol! ... show more

The product is supposed to create a clear, fog - free windshield on the inside. Instead, it is impossible to properly wipe away, so there is a milky film all over the inside of the windshield. I tried this several times to see if it was my error or the product's error, but I can safely say it is not me. I cleaned the glass with window cleaner. I followed the instructions to apply this product. I spent 5 minutes wiping as hard as I could to remove as much residue as possible like the directions say. Still, it leaves foggy streaks all over the inside. This is highly disappointing since I have used Rain-X products for years on the exterior of the windshield. I had hoped this would live up to those expectations, but sadly it did not. Frustratingly, it certainly did not. Will never purchase again. ... show more

    • Works for bathroom mirror
Initially bought this to prevent my car windows from fogging up but tried it out on my bathroom mirror first. Didn’t expect much but wow, it really works. I like taking pretty hot showers so the bathroom gets very steamy. I applied it over a week ago and the mirror is still crystal clear after I step out. Make sure you buff it after applying with a separate dry cloth and you won’t have any streaks. ... show more

I put this on my mirror in the bathroom. The mirror still gets foggy from using the shower. It didn’t work well for me.
