  • Surprisingly warm and comfy
Color: Packable Light Grey Size: Large
This jacket is very lightweight but warm. Nice quality fabric. Overall good jacket for the price.

  • Great for longer arms
Color: Packable Black Size: Large
I bought this because all of my other winter coats have a sleeve length that is too short for my 6'0 tall self. The sleeves fit perfect. I got a large, it's a little roomy but that's perfect for wearing a sweater underneath. It's super light weight but warm! I love the black with pink lining.

  • Traveler's Review & Comparison with Wantdo Ultra Light
Color: Packable Grey Size: Medium
There's Ultra Light and there's ULTRA Light and when it comes to functional, packable outwear for traveling lighter is always better. How light you go depends upon the features important to you. Here, I'm comparing the Little Donkey Andy (Size Medium) to the Wantdo Women's Hooded Packable Ultra Light Weight Short Down Jacket (Size Large). The jackets (despite the different sizes) fit almost identically. Each have two zip hand warmer pockets and each have two deep internal pockets. The Little Donkey Andy has an additional zippered chest pocket. What's good about the Wantdo (which I've owned since 2018): The jacket is truly ULTRA light. It weighs a mere 10.65 oz in its stuff sack and you can tuck it into almost any kind of bag and barely know it's there. My Wantdo has gone with me to Morocco, Portugal, Africa and all over NYC, where I live. It's good for mild days, on its own, and good as a layering piece for colder days. It's great on an airplane because planes get chilly! Less good about Wantdo: Though the zippers have not failed me, I am ginger with them (especially the hand warmer pocket zips) as they are a bit dainty (keeping the jacket's weight down) - When I zip the jacket all the way up, the exposed zipper sometimes rubs against my chin. It's a minor quibble, but noticeable. What's good about the Little Donkey: The zippers are more substantial than the Wantdo. The chest pocket easily swallows my iPhone XR which means this jacket does a better job of keeping me bag free as I wander around town. The jacket is warm, perhaps slightly warmer than the Wantdo, though I suspect not by much. I've worn it out on a sunny day in the upper 30's/low 40's and it didn't feel much different from the Wantdo. Less good about the Little Donkey: It's heavy and bulky enough to not make the cut for my style of travel. The jacket is twice as heavy as the Wantdo at 20.75 oz and quite a bit bulkier in its stuff sack. This by no means indicates this is a heavy jacket - it is definitely not. But the weight and bulk might matter to you if you travel like me (carryon luggage only and as light as is reasonably possible). Sizing: I'm 5'3"/128 lbs/36" bust. I tried small, medium and large in the Little Donkey and stuck with medium. Small fit but would not allow layers. The large was much too big. Final Vote: No doubt, sturdier zippers, an extra pocket and poly-fill versus down make the Little Donkey Andy jacket heavier than the Wantdo. That said, I like the jacket very much. The hood fits my small head very well. The dark grey is an attractive color. I'm keeping the Little Donkey as a good replacement for some of my worn out mild-weather jackets that are much heavier and bulkier than this one. The jacket is light enough for city dwellers like me but not light enough to go on my overseas adventures. ... show more

  • Warm, waterproof, tons of useful pockets
Color: Packable Grey Size: Large
I liked this packable puffer so much I ordered a second one for my sister. It's my go to for this winter in New England. The hood is big enough to cover my head even with a ponytail but not so big it blows off in the wind. The pockets are plentiful and functional, I rarely carry a purse when I wear this jacket. It was perfect for a late November trip to Scandinavia as well. Lightweight but warm and most importantly keeps you dry without needing to carry an umbrella. I wear it in temps down to 20 degrees Fahrenheit and then switch to heavier coat. ... show more

  • Sleeves too long
Color: Packable Black Size: X-Large
Was a little disappointed with the fit. I'm 5'4" 180lbs and the sleeves were too long (have to roll up the cuffs). The XL was a little big but that is ok as I have room for a fleece underneath. The overall length had good coverage for the back end. Good quality, all seams were finished nicely, hood was roomy (cannot cinch the hood, wind pulls it off my head). Great jacket for walking the dog, running errands and hiking. Warm with layers underneath if temps get into the 20's. Otherwise the jacket alone is great for 40 degree weather, cozy! ... show more

  • Verynice jacket.
Color: Packable Grey Size: Large
Good quality. A little roomy but works great if you’re wearing a sweatshirt or sweater. Would definitely up it again.

  • Comfortable!
Color: Packable Rose Size: Medium
I love this jacket, comfortable, lightweight and flattering. I will probably order a second one... Edit...I bought a second one (the first was rose, second light Gray. The Gray still fits well in the shoulders, chest but it very tight across the stomach when zipped. It doesn’t fit at all like the rose color. I’m very disappointed, I may send this one back. I’m 5’ 3 1/2 weigh 130 lbs. Another edit...sent grey one back and bought the turquoise...it’s a little larger than the grey but still does not fit as well as the rose. It’s disheartening when sizing is not consistent. ... show more

  • Warm and Cozy Coat
Color: Packable Rose Size: XX-Large
I really like this coat overall. It's warm, yet not super puffy. I wore it on a particularly cold and windy day, and it did a good job of keeping me warm. I like that the design has some shape to it, so I don't look like the Marshmallow Man, as with some puffer jackets. Lots of pocket space, with zippers. I took away one star because the arms are too long. Granted, I don't have the longest arms, but this coat swallows them up, unless I roll up the sleeves a bit. The coat is thin enough to do that. The color is a beautiful candy pink. I was expecting it to be more of a reddish pink, rosy color, as in the photo. However, it's a brighter, dark candy pink. The color makes it a little less versatile, but is still beautiful to look at! ... show more
