The slide and lock system is kind of unique, but doesn't require anything special mounted to your phone and holds it sturdy. I can get a slight rattle on bumpy terrain, but rarely. It has need switch to lock it after inserting your phone and the keeps it closed. I always pop it in at the start of the ride and take it right out just as easily. This was a Christmas gift for my fiance she rides BMX and has a street bike she likes to ride around the neighborhood and go to the store riding on it instead of driving and although it took some convincing that it was something she needed once she attached it to her handlebars more or less to shut me up after the first ride with her phone safely being held by this phone holder she was sold and pretty appreciative of it she's proud of it she shows anybody who comes by the house this Caesar bike how handy it is and how much easier it is to ride and she doesn't miss calls or texts and she's safer now she doesn't have to reach into her pocket to get the phone if she's riding. This is a well made good quality toughest grunt unit It does not allow the phone any movement whatsoever as far as I can tell him what she has said there is no chance of her phone coming out of that thing once it's attached It doesn't slide around wiggle or rotate or rattle It's a solid as a handlebars are themselves and it's one button release that can't be accidentally pushed and has to be done intentionally but she can do it with one hand phone in phone out one hand while she's riding even there are a lot of these products out there I spend a long time reviewing before I made this purchase there was only one thing I didn't like about it and that was the threading on the bolt That's a nut screws on to to hold the unit onto the handlebars were a little less than perfect so I took a nail file and a magnifying glass and lightly filed back and forth to smooth it out It was kind of jagged not horrible and not sloppy it just had an imperfection and it was allowing the nut to slip backwards It kept clicking but since I've done that it tightens completely it's not coming off unless she wants to remove it it's solid it's already been bounced off the pavement many times it's durable it was well priced and well made and I'm completely satisfied with it and so is she. You put a lot of trust into something when it's supposed to keep your $1,200 iPhone safe in very unpredictable and aggressive conditions I mean technically we have no business putting the phone on something that's attached to a BMX bike lol that's just not super wise thinking but she's confident her phone is safe and having checked it out I am too. So good job guys! Your LISEN bike phone holder is just as you describe it is and I'm looking into buying your other products now that I've got her accessorizing her blacked out Diamondback or "her baby" as she refers to it. 😁 ... show more

    • Ditched the Silicone Strap Mounts for This

I've got this on both my motorcycle and my bicycles and it's been great across the board. I used to run the kind of mount that uses a silicone strap to hold the phone down, but I'm done with those — that silicone breaks down over time and gets brittle, and eventually it just fails. This one doesn't have that problem at all. Once you lock the phone in, it's not going anywhere — I trust it completely, even on rough terrain, not just smooth roads. Adjusting the angle is easy, it doesn't creep into the screen or block any buttons, and getting the phone in and out is quick, no fighting with it. Only real gripe is that it's a bit bulky for bicycles specifically — not a dealbreaker, just a minor nuisance if you're used to smaller mounts. ... show more
