Works great for holding up my mixer desk, which isn’t huge so was worried it would be too wide to hold it, stands at a decent height for performing either sitting or standing up, and is easy to adjust to make it narrower or wider depending on what you need on it. Easy to haul: I use a minivan to haul my instruments and sound equipment. This stand folds flat and takes up almost no space. Easy to carry through doorways and down hallways. Quick setup: loosening and tightening two wing nuts allows the stand to slide open, accordion style, to fit my Tascam Model 12 perfectly. Very quick set up, very sturdy, and versatile as far as accommodating various sizes of pretty much anything I need to set on a stand from my mixer to my pedal board to a laptop. I've only used it for one gig, but, based on quite a few years of experience loading, unloading, and setting up for solo gigs, my first impression is that I've been waiting to find a stand just like this for a long time. Very well made, stable, and easy to adjust. The only issue I have with it is that if someone bumps my mixer, it could fall into the middle. I fixed that by putting a strap between the side rails. No problemo.

Solid build no assembly required Very easy to use and breaks down to be portable Not very adjustable but very stable in use I wanted to be able to mount wheels to it and it doesn’t seem to accomodate that also as someone who is 6’1 the height is too low for me and the height adjustment is proportional to the width so it doesn’t work for me unless I put a large device on it. I love that it can break down and intended to use it as a stand next to my dj gear once I build my rack unit to house my mixer and I will still do that. ... show more

This is a very solid, well made stand. Pretty light weight and unusually stable. I have owned many stands for keyboard playing over the years and this one is unusually stable and solid. Folds up in one or two seconds, just push the sides together. Fairly light weight. I understand that this is designed for mixers and DJ setups, and I'm sure it's fine for that, but I use it for my Sequential Take 5, a small 44 key synthesizer. But a bigger keyboard would also work fine on this stand. It's quite stable as I mentioned, with long feet, and is rated for 250 lbs. It's well made, and the price is reasonable, a good value from a small American company. ... show more
