Easy to haul: I use a minivan to haul my instruments and sound equipment. This stand folds flat and takes up almost no space. Easy to carry through doorways and down hallways. Quick setup: loosening and tightening two wing nuts allows the stand to slide open, accordion style, to fit my Tascam Model 12 perfectly. Very quick set up, very sturdy, and versatile as far as accommodating various sizes of pretty much anything I need to set on a stand from my mixer to my pedal board to a laptop. This stand is worth the money. It’s very sturdy and takes up just the room you can afford to give up. It’s easy enough for a child to use. It’s very compact and very durable. Nice and simple. I would recommend you to use this sitting down on a bench or chair. I’m 5'7" 210 pounds and to Dj on this is not practical standing. I wish they have the same stand that’s flat and taller.

This is a very solid, well made stand. Pretty light weight and unusually stable. I have owned many stands for keyboard playing over the years and this one is unusually stable and solid. Folds up in one or two seconds, just push the sides together. Fairly light weight. I understand that this is designed for mixers and DJ setups, and I'm sure it's fine for that, but I use it for my Sequential Take 5, a small 44 key synthesizer. But a bigger keyboard would also work fine on this stand. It's quite stable as I mentioned, with long feet, and is rated for 250 lbs. I used this for my Yamaha MG12XU mixer. I feel unsecured therefore I bought additional double side tape to make sure my mixer does not move and drop. Because this stand does not have crossed bars therefore easily drop when someone hit and the stand move. I would give it 5 stars if there's crossed bars.
