Ok, I've been on this planet for 71 years and I'm not a tactical type person. However I have spent 24.5 years in the military, so it's in my background. My first thought when I opened the package was, Is that buckle gone fit through the belt loops on my jeans? My second question was, What am I gonna do with the excess belt material? The answer to the first question is yes, the buckles fit thru the standard belt loops. The answer to the second was to flip the excess material back and overlap it. It works out fine, but I'm thinking it might be more comfortable to cut off most of the excess. My main concern there would be the cut end unravelling and making the belt unusable. For now, I'm gonna stick with folding it back. Speaking of which, that is how you size the belt to fit you perfectly. One you get it sized and looped, fastening and disconnecting is a breeze. The belt material is solid and should hold a number of attachable accessories if you are needing that function. I'm thinking it's probably stronger than the web belts I used way back then. So, if you're looking for a practical and functionable belt, this is your answer! ... show more

  • An EDC belt stiff Enough to Support a Holster and Heavily Laden Pouches
Color: Black
I wanted a new EDC belt for my workwear pants, one I didn’t mind roughing-up, so I didn’t want anything too expensive, so I thought I’d give this belt a try. So far, I am fairly pleased with this belt. I compared it to a similar belt I have from a name brand company, and the material on this belt is not as thick or as stiff, but it gets the job done and the metal buckle seems strong with positive engagement that doesn’t come undone unless one of the two latches is depressed. Although I have a 32-inch waist, I carry an IWB holster, so I prefer belts that are made for at least a 34-inch waist. I decided to order this belt knowing I could trim some excess as needed. This length of this is plenty long, but because of the way it folds under itself I don’t need to trim it unless I want to. Although not as stiff as my other belt, it does support my Kydex holster adequately and the belt does not loosen throughout the day. If you do decide to trim this belt, t is easy to do so, just cut it and burn it with a lighter. The belt buckle is entirely metal, and it opens and closes with a firm click and it does not come loose with use. One feature I really appreciate is the way the belt is threaded through both ends of the thick buckle. During the day, when I need to drop-trow, such as at the toilet, when I unbuckle the belt, I don’t worry about one end pulling through the belt loops on my pants from the weight of the accessories on the belt, and inadvertently dropping my pouches and holster on the floor. My only gripe about this belt is regarding the material used. On the listing in some places, it says it is made of nylon, and in other areas it says it is made of polyester. These are two very different materials, one being UV resistant and the other being more abrasion resistant. Which one is it really made of? At this time, I’m just not able to determine that answer. At just under thirty dollars, although a bit on the pricey side for what it is, it is a nice belt for EDC use that should last a while which looks sharp and holds tight. ... show more

  • Nice Adjustable Belt
Color: Black
Needed a new belt for my work pants that could handle some rough treatment without breaking the bank, so I gave this one a shot. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. Compared it to a fancier brand I own, and sure, it's not as thick or stiff, but it does the job. The metal buckle is solid, clicks in place, and won't budge unless you want it to. Trimming it down is a piece of cake—just chop it and hit it with a lighter. The all-metal buckle has a cool feature where the belt goes through both ends, which I dig. At around thirty bucks, it's a bit on the pricey side for what it is, but it's a good-looking, sturdy belt that should stick around for a while. It does the job and looks sharp doing it. ... show more

  • Solid belt, some area for improvement.
Color: Black
Nice belt - feels solid, looks good overall. The nylon webbing is rigid enough to hold things. The buckle is easy to close, and easy to open - perhaps too easy to open. I haven’t made it open on accident (yet), but I think it’s a matter of time. It arrived in a big loop. You have to thread the end through the other side of the buckle to make sure things work. I saw no diagram so I just had to puzzle it out - wasn’t too bad, but if my first guess wasn’t correct I’d have been annoyed. Based on how the buckle threads, it’s a bit awkward to pull through belt loops - it takes a bit more finagling than my other leather belts. Bottom line - I’ll keep it in rotation, but it’s not my favorite. Some design choices lead to imperfection. ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations
Color: Black
I ordered this belt for work which I am required to wear 5.11 TDU pants and a duty belt (with some heavy equipment and sometimes interesting circumstances). I normally wear a 5.11 TDU belt underneath my duty belt. I have been wearing this belt for 2 or 3 weeks now and it has not failed. The things I like about this belt is the buckle is metal with a quick release to uncouple, the width of the belt is slightly smaller than the 5.11, and the best part: the belt stretches allowing for wonderful bloating that sometime comes after a meal. Even with the stretching, my pants do not move. My only complaint is it does take more time to initially put on as the male buckle has to be removed before going through the pant loops and then resecured. Aside from that, I really like this belt and I do recommend it for anyone that needs a tight belt but still needs flexibility. ... show more

  • Extremely wide belt, will not fit every pair of pants
Color: Navy Blue
This belt is good quality materials, and feels quite solid. The latching mechanism is easy to use, and feels to fasten securely. However, the sheer width of the buckle made it impossible for me to wear as I could not thread it through the belt loops on my pants, even with the rather generous allowances of a pair of Duluth Trading Company jeans. If you have something with very wide belt loops, go for it, but it won't fit a lot of regular pants. ... show more
