I absolutely love this yarn. It’s so soft, and works up so well. I originally saw a blanket made with the hot pink and I had to know what kind of yarn it was because it was so beautiful. Once I found out, I bought it in hot pink and purple (so far). I think it’s a great value for the money. I haven’t been able to find anything like it anywhere else. It doesn’t bleed when you wash it either. The yarn is a 4 weight and the thickness is exactly as it should be. It’s 5.2oz and 295yds, which is a decent size for many projects. I bought 3 of the hot pink and used it as a stripe between another yarn (lion brand ice cream roving yarn - Shirley temple) to make a blanket and it turned out so great. I love it! ... show more

This yarn is a delight to work with and the end product is very pretty and nice and soft. It washes nicely and comes out of the dryer looking as good as new. It has a good stretch to it and goes back to it's original shape quickly with no sag. I believe that the blanket that I made for my great granddaughter will last a lifetime and she absolutely loves it. I had no problems with the strength or stretchiness of this yarn. I got these simply because the blend is perfection!! It’s soft, but once I steamed my project, omg it was even better! I got them while they were on sale for 4.99, but I don’t think paying more than maybe $6 is fair for the yardage you’re getting. I need at least 3 skeins for a full size blanket. The green star blanket attached is what I’m working on and used an entire skein so far. It wasn’t even enough for a baby blanket, but this pattern has a lot of repetitive stitches and rows, so it probably uses more than a simple granny stitch blanket.
