First let me say, this bedframe feels solid and looks as good as the pictures. I have no doubts that it will fall apart or anything of that nature. There's weight to everything so it's not just cardboard tossed together. There are a lot of pieces to put together but the instructions are relatively easy to follow. Having said that, I bought this because of the built-in storage. It has those 4 drawers but the issue is that they don't easily open and close. You have to lift up the drawer, which is fine. However, to close it there are no tracks to guide it back in place. So, if you floor is at all uneven or simply if you push it back without placing it directly in alignment, it won't close properly. Add to that, you need to lift it up so that the inner-clasp connects. It's more of a nuiscance than a proper defect but if you actually store daily items in there it gets annoying. Also, I now understand what other reviewers meant by the fact it only has a remote on the cord. My issue is more so that there's no clear way to turn off the lights in the daytime. I don't need a daily lightshow and, honestly, don't need yet another remote to potentially lose. I don't mind that the remote is attached to the bed but there should be a way to turn it off. Maybe I missed it when cycling through the options. Also, I would like to sit more stuff on top of the headboard that plug-in. However, there's no hole to pull the cords through the top of the headboard. You have to bring them through the front or the sides. Again, not a deal-breaker but it does take away from the aesthetic. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase but I would definitely suggest they address those items in a newer version.

My 9 year old son helped me put this together, and we took about 2 hours from start to finish, including cleaning out space, unpacking the box, and putting everything back together once the bed frame was assembled. I could have handled the job easily on my own aside from fitting the cross braces on the bed frame. They have to be slid in very precisely on opposite ends at the same time, so having a helper for that part was super valuable! The headboard storage area is a bit smaller than I envisioned, but other than that, this is a fantastic bed! It’s sturdy and lined up just perfectly. The instructions were easy to follow - just take your time and be sure to pay attention to detail. The LED feature is fun, and while like other reviewers we wish there was a remote for it, that’s a minor quibble. Looking forward to utilizing the under bed storage drawers, and I love how they can lock securely into place - such an ingenious little design quirk. We have an 8 inch thick bed in the box mattress from Costco, and my son says is very comfortable and he doesn’t feel the metal slats at all. The mattress does slide around a little, so I might figure out how to get some sort of gripper to put on the slats to help hold the mattress in place a little better.

I’ve had this bed frame for just over 5 months now. In the 5 months the bed has already fallen apart. When I first got it, I was peeved because it’s so hard to put the drawers back in and they slip and slide all over the place. I thought okay no big deal. Every time I get in bed it squeaks, we’ve tried everything they say on their website and troubleshooting section. Not great for parents who have a crib near by. It’s so loud it will wake anyone up. My queen size bed is just barely two small for the frame so that also shifts all the time. The slats are also just barely long enough for the frame. When you get in bed you’ll hear one or two fall off completely. Not safe. I’ve taken it apart and put it together multiple times, even had my step-father (a mechanic) do it because I thought I was doing it wrong. Nope. Just poor design.

The media could not be loaded. Although this arrived 5 days later than it was expected, it arrived fully boxed and protected, it was a very organized box with clear instructions and the hardware was very nicely packed-I really really appreciate that. Although the directions don’t have words, the pictures are very clear to understand and it was very easy to put together. I also appreciated the quality-the housing for the screws was metal, so I expect this to last quite a while and not just crumble under me one day. I expect it to last through a move, too. It’s quiet, it doesn’t freak or anything. I got the drawers under mine for storage, they fit nicely and secure. For $400 I think is a good buy. It sits lower to the ground, but I don’t mind that. It looks nice. The reason I gave it three stars is solely because I cannot get the LED strip to work on command. I got it to work the first night I got it put together and haven’t been able to get it to turn on since. I’m bummed because that was a major selling point for me.
