This chair and ottoman set is gorgeous, nicely made, and was easy to assemble. The color and material is very high quality. Unfortunately, I did not realize it is for very small people, maybe more child sized. I should have read the dimensions more closely. The seat width and depth are fine but the height is low. Once you are sitting in it, it's actually comfy, but might be hard for some people to get out of. I was looking for a small profile chair and so this is my own fault for not being more aware of the height dimension (only 15"). I don't hate these chairs and will keep them! I got this on sale and think it was worth the reduced price. The chair is small, but that’s what I was looking for. The swivel base is smooth and the ottoman is nice to make it more comfy. One star off for the legs of the ottoman look so cheap. They are plastic, which is fine, but for some reason they made them woodgrain in a dark color. I bought some wood and brass legs to replace them and it’s 100 times better ... show more

Well this is small. I know I could of read the size and figured that out, but honestly just reading it didn't really give me the idea of how small it is. Let me be clear, good quality, cute, and if it was the right size it would be a keeper. I am sending these back (I had got two) it really is more of a chair for a child. If you are looking for a chair for a kids room, or to add a chair for a kid in your living room this is the chair for you. I just thought it was more of a full grown person size. To give you and idea I am only 4"11 and it was too short and low to the ground for me which says a lot. But if you know the size and it fits your need then it's a good chair. ... show more
