I purchased this mattress cover for a unique application - my sofa. When I put my sofa together in the "pit" configuration it is very close to the same size as a King size bed, and sometimes I have a small child sleeping there who is not fully potty trained. I don't want to ruin my couch if the child was to have an accident so putting this wonderful mattress protector on the couch which fits perfectly AND has straps to keep it from moving is perfect. I got this recently for my 6 year old’d bed and our bed. My daughter still sometimes pees at night and although she wears a night diaper, it can leak out as well. The other mattress protector we had was too thin and would go down to the mattress. This one has worked great so far. It held the pee to the protector only. I washed it and dried it, and it’s perfect. It fits very well in her bed and stays in place with the straps. It is actually very cushioned and comfortable. I definitely recommend this one!

Very soft material, though not the toughest. I noticed the strap broke recently after a couple months of use. The size is JUST enough to fit atop my full size mattress, but the strap really needs to be stretched out and snapped on one side as a result. It's okay, but if you're looking for coverage to protect your bed, maybe invest in a better product.

Unfortunately this is definitely not waterproof and it leaked urine right through to the mattress the first time it was used. I love the idea of the straps so it’s easy to put on and off the mattress but the sizing is not accurate either and is slightly smaller than the size advertised and the straps wouldn’t stay in place. The material is so thick too which could be nice to add bill and softness to the mattress but as a protector for the mattress this is useless and would be impossible to wash in a machine as it is so thick. The waterproof backing is cheap and was already scratched just from opening package. Overall this did not meet any of my needs or expectations.

This mattress cover is exactly what I was looking for. I take care of my elderly father in law and he wears a diaper because of prostate and bladder issues and leaks while sleeping. The way we have his bed set up it’s hard to make and I was needing to wash his bedding often. This allows me just to wash the cover instead (so I don’t have to wash all the bedding as often) it’s easy on and off and is so soft and comfy. Everyone is happy. Me and my father in law.
