My 9 year old son helped me put this together, and we took about 2 hours from start to finish, including cleaning out space, unpacking the box, and putting everything back together once the bed frame was assembled. I could have handled the job easily on my own aside from fitting the cross braces on the bed frame. They have to be slid in very precisely on opposite ends at the same time, so having a helper for that part was super valuable! The headboard storage area is a bit smaller than I envisioned, but other than that, this is a fantastic bed! It’s sturdy and lined up just perfectly. The instructions were easy to follow - just take your time and be sure to pay attention to detail. The LED feature is fun, and while like other reviewers we wish there was a remote for it, that’s a minor quibble. Looking forward to utilizing the under bed storage drawers, and I love how they can lock securely into place - such an ingenious little design quirk. We have an 8 inch thick bed in the box mattress from Costco, and my son says is very comfortable and he doesn’t feel the metal slats at all. The mattress does slide around a little, so I might figure out how to get some sort of gripper to put on the slats to help hold the mattress in place a little better.

Good value. Not too hard to put together. Nice spacious drawers - I only wish they were on tracks. Instead they are free rolling except for when tucked into a notch in the bed. Not my favorite but otherwise great and very sturdy.

First let me say, this bedframe feels solid and looks as good as the pictures. I have no doubts that it will fall apart or anything of that nature. There's weight to everything so it's not just cardboard tossed together. There are a lot of pieces to put together but the instructions are relatively easy to follow. Having said that, I bought this because of the built-in storage. It has those 4 drawers but the issue is that they don't easily open and close. You have to lift up the drawer, which is fine. However, to close it there are no tracks to guide it back in place. So, if you floor is at all uneven or simply if you push it back without placing it directly in alignment, it won't close properly. Add to that, you need to lift it up so that the inner-clasp connects. It's more of a nuiscance than a proper defect but if you actually store daily items in there it gets annoying. Also, I now understand what other reviewers meant by the fact it only has a remote on the cord. My issue is more so that there's no clear way to turn off the lights in the daytime. I don't need a daily lightshow and, honestly, don't need yet another remote to potentially lose. I don't mind that the remote is attached to the bed but there should be a way to turn it off. Maybe I missed it when cycling through the options. Also, I would like to sit more stuff on top of the headboard that plug-in. However, there's no hole to pull the cords through the top of the headboard. You have to bring them through the front or the sides. Again, not a deal-breaker but it does take away from the aesthetic. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase but I would definitely suggest they address those items in a newer version.

Takes some time to assemble, but directions are excellent. Really sturdy and an amazing value for all that you get. It is so impressive that this was so well thought out and everything goes together very nicely. Only one item had an issue and that was the holes for the outlet screws were slightly off. No big deal. Got them in fine. Everything seems extremely well engineered. The wheels even slide into captive brackets and are very secure with only one screw. Only thing I wish it had was an adapter for the LED lights to plug into the wall rather than the outlet on the bed. It leaves the wire exposed and is ugly, but that is an easy fix to get a usb adapter. Spacious bins that secure and line up perfectly. Overall amazing value, we'll see how it holds up as a guest bed, but I don't foresee any issues.

It a good bed frame. I needed more storage space and it serves a dual purpose. A bed and storage, while also looking nice. No missing pieces, but poor instructions. Nothing was bent or broken and it's quite durable. The adhesive corner protectors are kinda crap though, fell off within the first hour of being put on and the adhesive stopped working. It's a very good value. I'd end up paying more at ikea.

This bed was actually fairly easy to put together, way easier than I thought actually. So I give it 5 stars for that because you know these things can be crippling after hours of putting them together. It did take about 2 hours, but it wasn't like aggravating or painful to do. A few cons(if you care, I personally don't care too much): - The boards are flimsy-ish, so you do have to be careful with everything until it's completely together. Once it's together, it's a little stronger. So not sure how long it'll last, but it's still okay for the money. -Instructions are missing a couple of things so you have to put on your critical thinking cap a couple of times. It wasn't like I had to go back and fix anything per say, but I definitely had a couple of "well it doesn't say where this peice goes, but I'm doubting myself because the instructions don't specifically say that", but I made it through it. - Had a couple bumps and bruises on some pieces. Nothing detrimental, but I had to bend back some brackets on the metal. Couple of peices of wood had a few dings in them, but the package weighs like 100 lbs, I am not returning anything that weight for just a couple of dings lol. Other than that, it is identical to the picture, fits a queen perfectly, and looks really nice.
