Takes some time but installation is not too complicated. There are some good and helpful videos that show the process. My input is: take some time to upgrade the firmware and the apps to latest versions to get the system working fine. The Zlink app that came installed caused Apple Car play to have a huge delay on phone calls to the point it was impossible to hold a conversation. Latest version of Zlink in Linkswell website solved the problem. I like the fact that specs are true, and the features they say you retain and the ones you loose are correct. Bottom line, this is not a product that will operate perfectly out of the box, but if you spend some time setting it up it will be a lot better that the original equipment in your truck, no matter what it is. ... show more

    • It's east to install, just plug In the harness to the right plugs and determine your AC type
The unit was nice but I couldn't use the GPS , the ZLink wouldn't start when connected to my phone, I cleared the history multiple times like the rep showed me but it stopped at connecting but never would connect, I purchased it for the Navigation as described but found out later I had to purchase the license for $150 and download it to the unit, I sent it back, I would love to have one that works properly with the GPS navigation already loaded. ... show more

    • Perfect. Needs tinkering out of the box
So starting off with the install. It's tedious. I wish there were some instructions that focus on your particular vehicle... Or any instructions at all lol Once I had it installed, I had 0 confidence it would even boot up, but it did, and was able to control everything it advertises. Initially I had an issue where my dual zone climate control would not be able to be controlled. However, following their vehicle specific guide of going into settings, system, setting guide and car model/ac, I was able to change it to the RAM/HIGH setting which (after cycling the ignition) gave me full control again just like stock. Going to have to test long term if it holds up in high/cold Temps and direct sunlight but my initial impression is way better than expected. ... show more

Took 3 to 4 hrs to install, had to remove the center console with cup holders, instructions were pretty vague. I had to use a youtube video that showed the Gen II style screen. I lost Uconnect, the use of the microphone and my dual climate control. Not a bad product, I enjoy the ability to use Google Play Store to download apps. ... show more

Hi. I'm not sure why this has low reviews. I guess because the reviews apply for many different models. I personally got the gen4 ram 2014-2018 radio and it IS AMAZINGGGG! BEST HACK...DOWNLOAD AN APP CALLED TASKER. YOU CAN USE THE APP TO AUTOMATICALLY ENABLE HOTSPOT WHEN YOUR RADIO DETECTS YOUR PHONES BLUETOOTH. IF YOU HAVE A DECENT PHONE PLAN. CONSISTENT DATA ON YOUR RADIO...MAPS...SPOTIFY...NETFLIX...WEB BROWSER...EMAIL WTV YOU NEED/WANT. GREAT PRODUCT! ... show more

i normally do not leave reviews. the radio i received .would not turn on. i checked every wire and connection not even a little flicker on the screen. way to expensive for a product that does not work

This system is awesome! I get tons of compliments everywhere I go. It is easy to install(lots of youtube videos for instructions). I had an issue where the antenna wire for the radio became frayed. I contacted the seller and they shipped me a new one within a few days! Great customer service and excellent product!! ... show more
