This solved a dead spot for lighting in the bedroom area. When it's charged well, it puts out a good amount of pleasing light. It does begin to dim when you know the battery is starting to fade. I did take away a star because the battery life seems short even with the minimal use that this gets with us. I don't put it on long durations at all but it seems that it loses charge over time either way. I'd recommend it but expect to charge monthly if not sooner based on your usage. ... show more

I ordered a test version to see how it performed, and it has done everything I hoped it would. The mounting options are universal. It is basically a magnetic mount, but if you aren't sticking it to a ferrous surface it comes with an adhesive steel strip that you can stick to the surface, as well as some adhesive in a tube, and some other adhesive foam strips. I haven't yet tested it to failure but it stayed full brightness for three hours. There are two motion sensor options - one turns on with motion at any time, and the other turns on with motion only when it is dark. The motion sensor turns it one as soon as I open the door to the porch where it is mounted. I need multiple lights to light the area and was concerned that one remote might not control multiple lights, but it does. That could be a disadvantage if you want to control closely spaced lights individually, but in my case I was glad to be able to turn them all on with one click. I have my second light now to complete the area lighting, and I plan to order two more as backups to be fully charged when the first two go out. ... show more

I really liked this product when I first charged and used it. motion detection, easy to install peel and stick with magnetic field, was bright, you turn on and use a remote to control it. Changes color of lighting & dims also. The main problem I had was I use in a hallway & by one day it’s dead already and needs plugged in to recharge. It’s high on the ceiling so I can’t reach it & to keep climbing a step stool first dragging step stoop up stairs is a big hassle. So if you don’t care about charging every day then it’s a good product. It was not a good value for me . Low performance, short lasting charge ... show more

I had this light for 3 weeks and it's working very well. Most reviewers gave this light 5 stars for the functions, I am here to tell you how to set it up. 1. Charge the light for a few hours until the red light turns green. 2. Pull the plastic strip out from the remote control. 3. Push the green light button to set the brightness you like. Then turns it off by placing the red button. 4. Push the Night Motion button with a moon on it. Adjust the light by the black buttons on the left and right with arrows. AND LEFT IT ON. Do not place the red OFF button on the controller. 5. The auto light will be maintained for 20 seconds. I place this light on the side of the back hallway. When people opened the back door, the auto light turned on. After people went upstairs the auto light shut off automatically. It's about a week so far and it doesn't need to be charged again. I saved electricity with this light, and don't need to turn off the back hallway celling light every morning, saves my time. A Great light. I commend it. ... show more
