I am very pleased with this pillow. I use it when I sit on my couch to read. I feel properly supported and I am able to sit with better posture. I do not use the arm supports, but they do not bother me or get in my way. The pillow is fluffy enough to be very comfortable against my back, and the gray fabric is soft and looks velvety. The other reviewers are correct in saying this pillow comes flat, and it needs time to puff up. I opened the packaging and let the pillow sit for at least a week before using it. The reason for the long delay is I simply forgot about it. When I saw it sitting upstairs after the week or so, it was full and ready to use. I did not do anything to puff it up. For reference, I am five-four and weigh about 130 pounds. The standard size is perfect, and it is large enough for a person much bigger than me. It also takes up a lot of sitting space on my couch. If you order a larger size than standard, I think it would work best on a bed. ... show more

I’m 5’5 and first I ordered the standard size, but I have to set it up on a regular bed pillow to get the right height. Once I do it’s fantastic, especially since I often fall asleep sitting up. Thinking I needed a bigger one, I ordered the extra large. Y’all. Seriously, this thing is huge! Too huge for my husband to fit in a queen size bed beside me. So it had to go back. Amazon was incredible when I called asking *how* to return something so big. They sent UPS to my house. UPS wrestled it into a box by the handy dandy carrying strap and on its way back it went. Right now I’m propped up in bed against the standard size one on top of a regular pillow and I couldn’t be happier. Try it, it’s great! I wanted to start reading again as an adult but I didn't have a comfortable space in my home to do so. I had been eyeing this pillow for about 3 months and I finally decided to pull the trigger. Let me just tell you, I love this thing! I bought the XL version because I am a bit bigger and I find it super comfortable. One regret is that the upgraded version of this pillow came with a neck pillow. Mine did not have a neck pillow and it takes me a bit longer to get cozy, but once I do it is not a problem at all. Either way, it has allowed me to enjoy reading and I am finishing a lot more books. The pillow is also great for my anime binge sessions. I highly recommend it but for those whom this might apply to, the XL version is quite large and may take up a lot of space when not used. ... show more
