She was waking every night a few times a night in her small uncomfortable toddler bed and mattress so we upgraded her. We opened it and it puffed up pretty much to size within 24 hrs, no smell. It has a little filling out to do yet but sleepable now. It is soooo plush. Perfect for a person who doesn’t weigh much. My toddler loves it and can’t wait to sleep in it. It will be very comfortable for her. Personally as a 190lb adult this bed would be way too soft and plush for me. It is more like 4 inches thick...so I wouldn't go any thinner than this one. We use it to camp on, and I can't feel the ground with my hips...but ALMOST. It would be perfect for a kid! A 200 pound grownup might like a bit more support/thickness in an all-foam mattress. It also has some off-gassing at first, but it goes away pretty quickly. When we move, we couldn't get the queen size bed up the staircase. We purchased this bed to be able to carry it up the stairs and then allow it to completely rise. She likes it and says it was comfortable. It fits well on the frame we purchased it with and seems like it will hold up pretty well.

Came well packaged and did not notice any strong odors from plastic or storage. The center crease from folding in the vacuum bag took about 24hrs to fully expand and disappear. I thought the item was bad quality because it was very thin for the first 30 minutes. Didn’t realize it takes time for a gel foam mattress in a box to get its real shape after a couple of hours. Love my new mattress.
