We bought this for my almost 4 year old for her first bed other than her crib. I was a little worried as some of the reviews said that the mattress was really hard. We did not find that to be the case at all! This is a really good quality mattress for the price it is! It’s firm, yes, but not hard. I laid on it and I found it very comfortable and I normally sleep on a pillow-top mattress. My daughter loves it too. She sleeps so well on it! She falls asleep faster and has better quality sleep than she did on her crib mattress. We put a 1/2 inch foam topper on the mattress after a few nights just because we had one already but I don’t think the mattress needs it. Might be worth getting one if you like your mattresses softer but I definitely don’t think it’s too hard especially for little kids. A few reviews said that it didn’t inflate to its full size which we did not find to be the case either. It maybe took overnight to reach its FULL size after we opened it but it was ready to sleep on after only about an hour after opening. I’m really happy we purchased this! ... show more

Overall, the mattress is pretty good with no major issues. However, in a few spots, the springs can feel slightly uncomfortable and poke through a bit. It's not a deal-breaker, but something to be aware of if you're sensitive to that.

This mattress is perfect for any toddler or child! It’s super thin so you don’t have to worry about them falling. Opening the packaging did not have a distinctive smell which was very nice. This is the bed immediately out of the box so we will see what it looks like as it’s had time to expand. Going to get a small mattress topper so the springs aren’t so prominent in our daughter’s back, but other than that it was a great purchase. Wonderful mattress for the price too! ... show more

We had this since Around January 20th, 2019, so about 15 months as of 5/2/2020. When we moved, we moved with nothing but our two cats, some cooking pans and each with a backpack of clothes and a computer and tv. Literally nothing else, so we slept on an air mattress until we bought this. At the time it was literally all we could afford and it seemed like an extravagant luxury. Luckily now, we are doing much better so were able to purchase a new bed. We paid $151 for it after it was all said and done. The delivery was botched, driver claimed they delivered it which was an absolute lie, it was just crappy weather and he didn't feel like doing it. This was confirmed through CCTV with our leasing office. That was a stressful annoyance because we thought it had been stolen and we were heartbroken. It eventually got here the next day or so, I believe. When we first got it, it expanded quickly, never bothered measuring it honestly. It was...better than a cheap air mattress, but honestly not as good as a more expensive one. But since it can't pop it would save us money. It's not the worst thing right out of the box and maybe with some foam on top it might have been better. One thing to note is this mattress is not flippable which really takes away from it's lifespan. We're both average sized late 20s people and would wake up sore often with this mattress. By around month 8 the springs were beginning to poke through, by month 10 it was a real issue along with sagging, after a year we were waiting for a good deal on a new mattress after buying a pillowtop for it (didn't help much, you'd need something much thicker). Today we got the "Signature Design by Ashley - 10 Inch Chime Express Hybrid Innerspring - Firm Mattress - Bed in a Box - Queen - White" and it is LUSH in comparison. WOW. What a difference 50 bucks makes! I can already tell the quality of the new mattress is three times that of this dingy old thing. If I'm honest, the only thing this linenspa is good for is if you are typically using an air mattress and are finding yourself having to replace it regularly and are in dire need of saving money. Otherwise, I implore you to save up just a little more and save yourself A LOT more money in the long run with something that will actually last. While my new mattress in a box may not be flippable either it is much thicker, softer and of much better quality that I really don't anticipate having to replace it any time soon. Please save yourself the back pain and hassle of this subpar nonsense mattress. In just over a year the sides are bulging out, there's dips in it, the springs crunch and it just folds in over itself if you try moving it like a sad giant stuffed animal that's lost half it's stuffing. I bought this for my toddler, it’s not only comfy but fits her bed perfectly! I almost want to ditch my bed and sleep with her because it’s so comfy. She now sleeps amazingly.     • Factory issue maybe? and Return struggle

I ordered the Twin XL and matched up a platform bed. Details show dimensions of 80 inches long. I get the mattress and before opening I skim the box for labels just in case and in big letters "Twin XL". The paper says let it poof up for 24-48 hours. After 4 days this thing did not get to 80 inches. It's a spring mattress and you can tell where the fabric is tight very easily cause the springs were bulging. The gap was between 4 to 5 inches short and it sat between the bars of it he frame. Inconvenience? yes, but it's fine, things happen. BE PREPARED! Trying to return this has been SO HARD. Amazon says you have to pack it to bring to UPS. I explained how it was impossible to get it back in the box They stated that if I could wrap it it anything that they would be fine and send UPS to do a pickup. After more discussion of christmas wrapping paper being pointless and how difficult it is to wrap it anyways;Amazon said no worries they'll pick it up "as is". Well UPS and Amazon don't talk and the Amazon worker current doesn't read notes or maybe someone didn't document discussion so Amazon workers know what's going on. After 5 days, it finally was returned and now we have to wait for the refund. *Note - Amazon says UPS will call before coming out. They don't. I had missed the pick up and had to call and arrange another one. Also, Amazon said "as is" was fine with no packing. I rolled it up to the best of my ability and when UPS showed up, the guy was so nice and took it anyways. But did say "it's supposed to be packed for any pickups". ... show more
