My new bed is firm and I need that stability for my lower back. But noticed it was causing pain in my upper neck and aggravating my carpal / cubital tunnel syndrome. I tried multiple mattress toppers and they were way too soft and very hard to toss /turn and had various other issues. This Linenspa topper works like a dream. Provides just as much comfort by lessening nerve compression without getting too hot or having it be too difficult to toss and turn. Now there is a bit of resistance to turn but not as daunting as the other brands- TRUST ME I KNOW. But If you really want one thats easy to turn then I suggest the Linenspa one with holes in it...BUT that one is not as good at preventing nerve compression as this one.. Overall the price is amazing for the value. Well done Linenspa!! Reader- dont think twice just get it and get good sleep!

I'm so happy with this. I got the 2". I have a low Japanese platform bed with a thin 3" shikifuton style mattress which is pretty dense and it used to be fine but nowadays I'm getting pain at my pressure points; hips and shoulders mostly. So I was hoping this would add just enough cushion to ease that and it's perfect. No more pressure point pain and just enough cushion to give my mattress a new feeling. I looked at a ton of these before choosing this one. I did have a 1 1/2" topper before, but it was the egg crate kind. I like this style MUCH better because it's actually 2 " all over the entire surface. My old one flattened out pretty quickly, so I really hope this brand and style lasts longer. But so far it's super comfy. I bought a cover for it too, which I highly recommend. It adds a layer to the cushion and protects it. I got pet hair on my old topper that was impossible to remove, so I made sure to get a cover this time. The topper came in a fairly small box folded and rolled, but it fluffed up immediately to full thickness which was a pleasant surprise. I was able to sleep on it right away. Oh, just one thing. It's not "cooling". Not at all. I have no idea why any of these topper makers make that claim, it's ridiculous. If anything it's slightly warming, being synthetic. So don't buy it with any expectation of a cooling effect. I didn't buy it for that though; I am very happy I bought it and definitely recommend it.

We got an air bed for a guest bed and it was ridiculously hard and the firmness level is set. So in order to soften it up we first added one of those down alternative mattress toppers. That did nothing and the bed still felt like a rock. So I searched harder and found this mattress topper. I didn’t want to spend a fortune or have something too thick since we plan on folding it up and storing it when the air bed is not in use. This one is perfect, adds a nice cushy top, the bed is still firm but not hard and it’s thin enough to fold up and store when not in use.

Mattresses can get enormously expensive (and are a pain to store), which is how I found myself on an air mattress for a while in between more permanent arrangements. My only regret is not getting this mattress topper sooner - it's a huge improvement to overall comfort, easy to put on, and affordable. I tried 3 different pillows before finally buying the topper, and it has been more beneficial than any of the pillows, without a doubt. If you have back pain and haven't tried a mattress topper yet, don't procrastinate like I did!
