Day 1: I am blown away. This mattress topper is a 10/10. I ordered it because I recently changed from a standard spring mattress to a memory foam mattress. I love my mattress, but it's a bit thinner than the spring mattress was and I missed the height. I also found that the cover of the memory foam mattress was stretching out and thought a topper might alleviate some of the strain on the mattress covering itself. So in any case I found this VERY affordable mattress topper and ordered it on impulse. I got a little worried when some reviewers said it was too soft but I rolled with it. I'm glad I did. Unpackaging was a breeze. Less than an hour to expand. No weird smell as some reviews indicate. I did however give it a spritz of my favorite fabric freshener just because that's a bed-making habit of mine. After a very restful hour nap, I can say with 100% certainty that this is an awesome purchase. The firmess to squish ratio is awesome. The added height makes my fitted sheet fit soooo much better with less slip. Now for the disclaimer: Foam. Is. Soft...... Foam. Is. Not. Firm. But this is the least soft foam I think I've ever laid on, amd that is a GOOD thing. A lot of foams have too much gove and you end up being swallowed alive. Or they are so soft that to get out you literally have to roll out because its physically impossible to sit up. But this is just right. I am VERY pleased. I will update after 1 week. SAME DAY UPDATE: okay I take back the no smell thing. Theres a bit more plastic smell than I thought. It will need more time to breathe than I thought. Not overwhelming though. Still workable. A year later and it still feels great. Moved in with my partner and we purchased a cal king size one to put in our bed. The full is now a spare bed (though our cats think it belongs to them lol). Cal King size gets the same rating as the full. Still fits well, the smell dissipates quickly, BUT the larger sizes will take longer to decompress and fill out. Keep that in mind. Don't be discouraged if it takes a while. Open it up early in the day, mist it with water or fwbreeze as it helps it unravel, and by night time, you have the most comfortable bed ever. I will say....I do not recommend using this UNLESS you use it with a fitted mattress topper/protector. Having the extra squeeze from the mattress protector keeps edges of the topper vs the edges of your mattress less noticeable. So I strongly strongly strongly recommend buying a fitted mattress protector with a slight quilting to make this topper even better. My partner and I love it. 2 year update: this topper is holding it's own! We still love it! The cal king is admittedly not a perfect fit, but it is extremely comfortable. I stand by my statement that a fitted mattress cover helps HUGELY in squishing the edges down to hide the fact the topper is slightly smaller than the mattress itself...which may actually be a mattress problem more than a topper problem. The full size one fits much more flush and it is still very comfortable as well! Our guests always love it! I've come up will a couple disclaimers: 1. It will never fit completely flush with your mattress. (Kind of already stated) 2. Cats seem weirdly drawn to clawing the foam? Doesn't apply to everyone purchasing, but worth noting. 3. The holes in the topper are not completely punched through, and of you attempt to put your finger through them to open up the airway, you may make a much bigger hole than you want. 4. Can't say it enough....foam is foam. It is not as stiff as a spring mattress. I like this, but my partner amd I have both agreed that a memory foam mattress PLUS a memory foam topper is a bit too soft sometimes. We will probably convert to a firmer mattress (but keep this topper) to balance it out. But 2 times purchasing this on 2 different sized beds more that 2 years later and we still don't regret this purchase! Recommend 10/10! 3 year update: Found this review while looking for a product I previously purchased and saw that I had purchased this 3 years ago. I still love it very much, and the foam does not seem to be giving out at all. I am 190 lbs and my husband is 6'8" and 260 lbs. So.... we are not small people! And yet I can say that this topper has held its own with little noticeable wear and tear. (Except for where the kitties got over zealous and scratched at it). We still have the full bed set up as a guest bed and it's doing great as well. I still stick to what I said about it being foam though.... It is soft. But we love it still 3 years later!

I often wake up with an arm or hand weirdly folded under my body and it hurts. I recently slept on a bed that had a mattress topper and found that it kept me lying flat on my back instead of moving all over the bed and rolling over my arm. I also sleep hot. I did a lot a research and decided to get the 2" gel Linenspa mattress topper. After reading several reviews on the mattress topper cover from the same company, I found one with better ratings made by Lucid. It was just a few dollars more and it's very high quality. I slept on this combination last night (I put the whole thing under my quilted mattress pad) and slept really well. It reminded me of sleeping on one of those Cloud Nine beds from Hampton Hotels. I decided on the 2" because, years ago, I purchased a very thick memory foam mattress and hated it! It got so hot and I sank in it so deeply, that I could not turn around in it and had trouble getting out of bed. Two inches is plenty for me. I weigh around 140lbs, so I'm no lightweight. I hope this helps you make a decision. By the way, there was a slight smell when I took it out of the package, it looked perfect (I even chose a used one---prime condition, never taken out of the bag for about $34) It inflated in about 2 hours and the next day, the odor was completely gone. So, I don't understand all that talk about the strong chemical smell. I have a great sense of smell. We recently had an invasion of odorous ants at the house. They were in our walls and I could smell them before they even got in through the electrical outlets. Nobody else in the house could! I have the nose of a bloodhound! : )

We brought an extra firm mattress a few months ago by mistake. After a few months I couldn’t take it anymore. I was hurting all over from my neck down to my knees and couldn’t sleep but a few hours at a time bcuz I was in so much pain and uncomfortable. I research and researched many different mattress toppers and read hundreds of reviews and decided on this one. It took and an hour or two to fully inflate. It is king size and it’s maybe a quarter of an inch smaller than the mattress, which is fine, who sleeps on the edge of the bed anyways and it’s not that noticeable. It did had a slight chemical smell that went away. Make sure to inflate in a warm room. After it inflated I turned on the ceiling fan and the chemical smell was gone by bedtime. The first night was immediately felt relief. My body was exhaling with happiness! It has made my extra firm mattress soft and comfortable. It does sink you in and still supports you where you need it. We got the 3” I wish it came in 4” bcuz I can still feel the hard mattress yet I’m comfortable still. My preference is not to feel the hard mattress but have the support from it...if that makes sense. My husband doesn’t like memory form, which is why we brought a new mattress but he likes this!! So we found a happy medium. If this comes in a 4” I will be getting it!! After a few days...I’m completely happy bcuz I’ve been sleeping better and not waking up feeling like I got hit by a Mack truck!!!....will update in a few months.. **UPDATE** It's now Aug. 2021 and this mattress topper is holding up great and no pressure point pain still. It still supports you and cradles you with softness. My only complaint, well maybe, is that it holds heat!! I wake up in the middle of the night having to change my pjs. If your a woman, in her early 40's and going through hormone changes that includes night sweats. This might not be for you!! Its good if you live in a northern state thats cold majority of the year or a person who is always cold. Even with my AC on meat locker setting and a fan blowing directly on me, I've sweated out the bed!! My husband is always cold and he too sweats out the bed some nights!! Other than this...this would be our only complaint. Needless to say im back on the market for another mattress topper and this one is going to our daughter who is always cold! My 4 stars still remains!

This was received timely and in a good solid packaging. We have bought similar toppers before so we knew to open the box after we got it in the bedroom and around the bed area as it began to explode from the tight compacted packing as we opened it and removed it from the box. There was a slight odor but nothing to worry about. I have the nose of a blood hound and it wasn't offensive to me so that speaks volumes to me. Not enough smell to worry about as far as I am concerned. The topper plumped up just as it was supposed to and in as little as about 30 minutes, it was a full three inches as promised. It is thick and weighted but I was easily able to move it around on the bed to where I needed it without any problem. After getting it in place, I was able to put my deep pocket sheets back on the bed over it with no issues. I would recommend deep pocket sheets if you have a thick mattress to begin with because it does give you about 3 inches of lift. With sheets on and bed fully made, my bed was 3 inches taller than usual so you may need to think about that then you order if you already have a very tall bed. It worked great for me but others may have an issue So getting in the bed, the sheets stayed on the bed with no issue. The topper did not roll up or move around when I sat on the edge of the mattress to put my shoes on and it did not bunch up under me when I tried to roll over onto the bed to turn down the comforter for my husband either. Cheap toppers will roll and bunch up so I was very pleased that this one stayed in place. Once, climbed into bed, I was in heaven. I am 5'7 and weigh 180 so it didn't take me long and I was slightly sunk into a soft cocoon and was cozy comfortable. Now, I am of the age of change so I have a hot flash or two during the night. Sometimes in the wrong bedding or sheets, I am tearing off sheets and pj's because I am on fire from the inside out. I was concerned that this topper being gel and foam that it would be too hot but it was very pleasant. I did not notice anymore hot flashes than normal so I would say that it passed that test with flying colors. My husband and I slept very well on the first night of our new topper. I am pleased with it overall and for the price, it is the best topper that we have purchased. We have tried 3 other brands over the years so this takes the cake. I would recommend it to my friends. It is very soft so if you need firmness or like something very firm, then this is not the topper for you.. This makes you feel like you are floating on a cloud.

3 inches of memory foam isn't enough for me. I'm paralyzed from the waist down and have been for 26 years now. All of a sudden I'm getting pressure sores on my hips (I'm a side sleeper) that I've never gotten before. I'm going to maybe buy a 2nd memory foam topper, maybe a 2 inch one to put beneath this one as I'm still getting pressure. Anybody else have this problem? I can tell you this, the company cares about their customers 100% I bought this and told them of my problem and they gave me a full refund, I could not believe it. It's rare these days to find a company that cares about the people that buy their goods. I told them that since I'm in a wheelchair that there was no way I'd be able to get it back in the box and pick it up and mail it back. I honestly thought they would tell me that I was up the creek without a paddle. But nope, they issued me a full refund, told me they were sorry it didn't help and told me to keep it. Now, don't get the wrong idea, they did not pay me to say any of this. I was just so shocked at how nice they were that I had to give them 5 stars as a company. Also, MY body isn't their problem. I read the reviews before I bought this and everyone says it's great. It's crazy soft and you sink right in, so comfortable, it just didn't relieve my pressure on my boney areas, I'm all skin and bones from my waist down ever since my accident and that's why I have pressure sore problems. Linenspa also makes complete mattresses and I think I'm going to try one of them. Maybe my old bed is just too old, I have to find something bc I can't keep living like this. Update 12/23/18: great customer service. They sent a 2inch mattress topper replacement, unfortunately it started causing back and hip pain within a few hours so I took it off. Don’t use this product if you have back and/or hip problems. Otherwise it’s great. Update 12/13/18: my back and sciatica pain is back with a vengeance and so much worse than I have ever experienced before. My hip hurts so much that I can’t walk on my left leg. Fortunately, the majority of the pain goes away after a few minutes, but I’ve been limping for days. Even sitting on the bed to put socks on causes severe pain. I took the mattress topper off the bed and immediately felt better. Do not buy the 3inch memory foam mattress topper if you have any kind of back or sciatica pain. It’s too soft and puts too much pressure on your hips. I reached out to linenspa customer service but haven’t heard back yet. Also, it’s extremely hot. It’s December and I was sweating through my pajamas and sheets with only a thin blanket on the bed. I love this mattress topper. It’s like sleeping on a marshmallow, but in a good way. After one night my sciatica pain was gone and my back was feeling better, still a little achy but much better than it had been. Within 3 nights my back pain was completely gone. Last night was the best night’s sleep I’ve had in years! I woke up once and went right back to sleep instead of my usual constant tossing and turning and looking at the clock. The heat takes some getting used to. The first night I woke up at one point and when I moved my legs the sheets under my knees were damp with sweat. I didn’t even know the back of my knees could sweat! I’ve figured out how to adjust to the heat so it’s comfortable now. Plus, I think I’ll save money on the heater in the winter! Hopefully, by the time summer rolls around next year I’ll be fully adjusted and can deal with the heat. But it’s worth the sweat to have no pain and to sleep through the night.

After 11 years, 3 moves a 6ft 200lb husband and a few jumping toddlers, my mattress had seen better days. I was thinking of ordering a memory foam mattress but we currently have 4 and I'm not 100% happy with any of them and didn't want to fork out a ton of cash for one I might end up disliking. I have a lot tension in my shoulders and neck and often wake up with migraines and a lot of pain, I'm a side sleeper. I ordered this topper 4 nights ago around 2 am after I was at my wits end from being in pain in bed, I received it yesterday and as others have said, it does have a light smell, it's not pleasant but if you have ever smelled memory foam it is typical, it's not overwhelming and wasn't strong enough to keep me from sleeping on in last night or bother me. This is definitely one of the better quality toppers I have found. It is dense enough to provide support but soft enough not to cause any pressure pain. I seriously had the best night sleep I've had in years (yes, years!) and that is even with a 3 month old waking me up to nurse. The only con I have about it is that it doesnt come in a case, I've never had one without a case and I feel it would last longer and provide some protection to the foam in a zippered case. This is thick, if you don't want a mattress topper that kind of sucks you in and cradles you like an infant I'd go with the 2 inch, but if you are looking to make your bed really cozy and a place for a good night sleep where you feel your body can recover from the day instead of waking up feeling like you've been run over than this will make you happy!
