I bought this mattress for a guest room. My guest thought it was reasonably comfortable. I tried it out for a few nights just to see. It really wasn't bad, but I'll keep my $5,000 mattress for myself. For the price of this mattress, it's really good. If you're thinking about having an extra mattress for guests to sleep on, this is a great buy and for that purpose, I'd buy it again. Of course I put a nice mattress protector on top of it because the material seems almost like the ticking on disposable hospital pillows. Not the best but for the price and a spare bed, It will last long enough. The mattress did rise to a full 10". I did not have an issue with that. I have been using pure memory foam mattresses for about 5 years. I'm a side sleeper, so typical mattresses usually cause hip pain and I also move a lot in my sleep so they were never very comfortable. My son was getting too big for his twin size, so I decided to get myself a new memory foam mattress, 10" instead of 8", and give him my old one. I ordered a solid 10" memory foam mattress but when it got here, it was this mattress. I did not notice until I opened it and felt the springs. Unhappy, I called Amazon but since I opened it, it was unreturnable. So they would send me the correct mattress. I had to wait for the new one so there was no choice but to sleep on these "springs". Honestly, we you sit on it or push down, it feels like a floppy 50 year innerspring mattress. I was not looking forward to it. It wasn't that bad but when then replacement arrived, it was this mattress again! So I had to wait again, until Amazon got the return back and then credit my account. Well, it's been over a month now and I'm convinced this mattress is made with witchcraft. It feels so uncomfortable when you sit on it, you sink down into the springs. Like there is nothing in there but air and springs. But when you sleep on it...it is the best sleep I've had in years. The "bounce" from the springs makes my moving around so much at night, unnoticeable. I used to wake up and try to get comfortable again. I never ordered that other mattress and if you are not afraid of a little witchcraft, I highly suggest getting this mattress. If you are a side sleeper or a chaotic sleeper, this is going to be the best sleep you ever had. ... show more

I usually do not post a review right after receiving goods from Amazon. Specifically items that demand some usage time to do so. Nonetheless, as I'm laying down on my new mattress, I can already feel the superb quality of it. What a bargain! I so hope it will remain so as days, weeks and months go by. I am, simply amazed. This mattress has been sitting to expand for 5 days. Its not expanded and when you sit on it you sink to the box spring. This is NOT a medium mattress. Softer than soft. I need to return this.

I am writing this review a few years after I've had the bed. First off the price and reviews are why I chose this product. Linenspa is also high up on my trusted brands list. The bed arrived rolled up in a box, very convenient. It has a chemical smell at first but goes away within 24 hours of airing out the bed, which is standard for these kinds of purchases. The bed itself is very comfortable, with about 3+ inches of soft, cooling memory foam on top of another 7 inches or so of firmer memory foam. This feels very nice and supportive, and allows my body some heat dissipation so I dont overheat at all. This feature is very nice. If you're moving or need to move the bed around as I have, this bed travels easily. Just fold the bed in half and shove it in a truck. I'm not sure I'd recommend storing it that way for long periods of time though. Having owned this bed for a few years, I advise to rotate the bed every few months at the very least so that you wear the memory foam at an equal rate. If you dont, you might notice dips in the bed after a year or two. It still holds up, its very comfortable, and I recommend it for anyone looking for a bed in the price range. You dont get what you pay for. Look at the attached picture and tell me if this mattress is 10 inches thick. Its close but close isnt what I paid for. I want my extra INCH and CHANGE ! To be honest the mattress came wrapped like a sausage does. I mean it was flat as a pancake and rolled up when it arrived. It's been 48 hours so maybe it still needs more time to unfurl. And what's that smell? I mean really....what's that smell? This mattress smells, I mean not like dog poo but a weird sort of smell. Not a super strong smeall but a noticeable when you walk in the rooom smell. My wife says she doesnt smell it (we disagree again) Maybe during the unfurling the smell will dissapate. It would be almost impossible to return, I mean how would I ever get this "mattress" back into its sausage skin to return it? My guest will arrive in 3 days, so I'll febreze it and see if that helps. The mattress is for the guest room and will only be slept on a few times a year and although my review isnt too flattering I am well aware that you get what you pay for.....except that extra inch and change, which Im rooting for.... It's not the worse mattress and for the price it is as should be expected. It does have some firmness, It arrived in a timely manner, It seems like it may be comfortable ( I havent laid on it) and I'm sure our college student guest (niece, home for the Thanksgiving holiday) So I guess , IT'LL DO, UNTIL IT DOESNT. ... show more
