What a cool concept! My 12 year old daughter LOVES the wings of fire series and she was ecstatic to recieve this as a gift. She works on it for hours at a time. The quality is excellent. AWESOME purchase for fans of Wings of Fire. My fourth grader is homeschooled and has completed her official Language Arts curriculum for the year. She has ADHD and can be resistant to activities she considers to be schoolwork. I've been trying to think outside the box to find ways to keep her working on, and expanding, the skills she's learned without her *realizing* that's what I'm doing. Enter 'Forge Your Dragon World'. The prompts and asks in the book really got her mind going. She has created a world all her own and is so eager to get it down on paper now. As we speak, she's in her room working on one of the stories in the book, excited to "surprise me" with it later. Can't recommend enough. I'd say ages 9-12 are best, but honestly I'd have fun having gotten two copies and doing this alongside her as a 38 year old! ... show more

So I got this book because I love wings of fire and always dreamed of creating my own book/dragon world. I saw this book and I was like "perfect!" I bought it and it was amazing. They have so many prompts in it to help you. But there are a lot of drawing in it and I mostly did not use it because I wanted to make a novel. So I skipped those parts. But if your making a graphic novel and is amazing at drawing dragons its perfect for you! ... show more
