I'm no welder, but can do a passable job on things no one sees or needs to trust their life to, but the welding I was doing with the junk wire that came with the Harbor Freight welder (the little one) was the problem - at least for ME. My best friend told me to toss that stuff and gave me a partial spool of the Lincoln to try out. WOW! It almost looks like I can weld! Now, I only have to grind for TEN minutes instead of my normal TWENTY. Yeah, I'm no welder, but this is what you want, especially if you're not a good welder.
