Just arrived today. My months long search for a fragrance that I LOVE - has ended. My favorite unisex frag has been reformulated and after so many years of loving it - I can’t stand it anymore. So I was off and running - I’ve purchased probably 20 fragrances in my search for something that I’d really like to wear every single day (a good blind reach - something flexible). While I’ve liked most of the new frags, and loathed one of them - as soon as I sprayed this one into the air - I knew I’d found the one I’d love. Opening is strong. Don’t let that discourage you. Give it 10 minutes to mellow out (because it very much will). Opening hits you with an overly aggressive lemon verbena that may turn you off. I love citrus top scents but this is - a bit much. Anyways - it quickly fades into the mids, so give it a minute. The middle. Floral. Sweet. NOT TOO floral and NOT TOO sweet - it’s just such a subtle pleasant scent. I can’t stop smelling my wrists - it is a ridiculously fresh, just showered, clean, welcoming scent. The violet comes thru so clearly - and nuzzles up against some spices to offset that gentle sweetness. It’s also slightly soapy. I swear there’s a clean laundry scent in here, too, like a really nice dryer sheet undertone. I love clean laundry - this is a plus. It’s not the star of the show but I catch little wafts and I love it. Base. Wood. A bed of sandalwood, with a touch of marine laying on top. The base mixed in with the soft florals, the super subtle soapy scent - it’s just a perfect fragrance profile. This isn’t a strong scent (once the opening settles). This won’t offend anyone around you (so long as you don’t initially spray it in close proximity to anyone - remember the opening is loud). I can see this in the spring - it’s got the floral vibe. I can see it in the summer - the fruity notes would shine. I can see it in the Fall - the spices in the middle would blend well with that weather. And I can see it in the winter because it’s subtle and it’s fresh and clean - there’s no wrong time to smell fresh and clean.. You can wear this to a casual event or a date - your esthetic and your vibe will make this work in any environment. The bottle is awkwardly shaped. That’s fine but spraying it is - a unique experience. I can already tell I’ll be cutting off the brown faux leather band around the bottle. Also - unlike the picture, the bottle I received had the same box pictured, but was not a glossy blue bottle - it is a matte black bottle. Even better. It took a while to ship but I knew that going in. Worth the wait. I highly recommend this fragrance. Also - for what it’s worth - I feel like this is a UNISEX scent, easily.     • Smells better than Green Irish Tweed
So I ordered a few samples from Creed's website CreedBoutique.com and one of those samples were Green Irish Tweed and from what I can tell, this clone smells better than it. The smell is subjective and boils down to preference, to me its a good smell, in my own personal opinion its not something that I think smells amazing but It does smell good, however, that doesn't mean others wont think it smells amazing, and lets not forget that cologne smells different on different people, so it might even smell better on you. For the price compared to the original I give it 5 stars, Overall the cologne smells good and its cheap, like i said it smells better than the original but not by much, maybe it smells the same but either way you might as well get this. ... show more

I know why you're here, so I'll be honest. Green Irish Tweed was my signature scent for years. It was and is still my favorite scent of all time. I ran out in 2018 and couldn't afford to buy another bottle of GIT because it's prices are insane. So, hearing about this Tres Nuit everywhere I gave it a shot. The second I sprayed it, I'm talking the very second, I smiled ear to ear and said to my gal yep, that's tweed alright. I couldn't tell a difference at all. Maybe a bit stronger, not as smooth as the GIT, but trust me when I say it's extremely close. Lasts all day and the dry down is 100% GIT. This is a real winner and I'll will most likely stock up and wear it for life (along with many others of course ha). I purchased this cologne because it was reported to be a very close replica scent to Irish Tweed. Sadly I must admit I don't know what IR smells like so I can't speak to that, just took that on faith. As to the scent itself for the money it is excellent in both scent and lasting power. It isn't a pure parfum and doesn't report to be but it is much nicer than you could expect from other brands in the same class in my opinion. This is really good. I can’t compare it to GIT because I haven’t tried the OG, but Tres Nuit is fantastic: green, clean, fresh, but deep and rich and smells expensive. Great performance. Moderate projection, but lasts on the skin for 7-8 hours. It’s most appropriate in spring and summer, but you could get away with it on a sunny fall day. Highly recommended. ... show more

I bought this perfume on the blind side, never hearing about it or smelling it beforehand. I have another perfume by Armaff which I also purchased blind- ly; that perfume is, as they say in the hood, "off the hook." It is intense. Now this one is also very good, smooth and light, but yet a very attractive and pleasant scent. It is pleasing, and non offending. I like it! ... show more
