Features

  • POWERFUL 7-IN-1 TIG WELDER AC/DC: The Welder is capable of welding with DC TIG / DC Pulse TIG / AC TIG / AC Pulse TIG / AC Pulse TIG Square / AC Pulse TIG Triangular / STICK /SPOT TIG Methods. AC TIG is used in finesse welding various aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, and other non-ferrous metals. DC TIG provides low-temperature control. You need precise welding for various types of steel: stainless steel, carbon steel, copper.
  • LARGE LED DISPLAY AlUMINUM TIG WELDER : ARCCAPTAIN Tig welder can weld 0.5MM-5MM (1/5-1.97) aluminum and 0.5MM-10MM (1/5-3.94) metals. Enjoy enhanced visibility with the TIG200PACDC large LED screen, providing clear display of welding parameters, settings, this screen ensures effortless operation, providing precise control over your welds in any environment.
  • PULSE & SQUARE & TRIANGULAR WAVEFORM: The ac/dc TIG welder is equipped to prevent the burning of materials and minimize material distortion from excessive heat input, as well as the triangular wave reduces the heat input effectively, so the weld forms rapidly. It is easy for thin metal welding; Square Wave can switch the polarity quickly, dynamic arc for a stable weld pool, a strong ability to clean aluminum oxide film, so it provides more precise welding on aluminum or aluminum alloy.
  • DIGITAL WEDLING PARAMETER SET: MCU Digital control system makes this machine more reliable and stable. Parameters such as Pre-flow, Initial current,Up-slope, Peak current, Base current, Down-slope,Crater current, Post-flow, Pulse duty, AC frequency, AC balance, Pulse frequency, are easily adjustable, and 2T/4T/Spot welding TIG torch control and foot pedal remote control (not included) methods which improve good welding performance.
  • 5 YEARS QUALITY SERVICE : We have professional personnel who can provide you with answer. The user-friendly and simple interface enables the operators to set it up easily and efficiently, data and dynamic output current will be displayed immediately. Spike withstanding IGBT saves space and weight. It's only 12 kg(26.5lb) . No heavy carrying! Note: DON'T power on until the screen turns off and the fan stops working!

  • Easy to set up
Style: TIG200P
This ARCCAPTAIN 5-in-1 TIG welder is an excellent machine for both beginners and experienced welders. The dual-voltage feature makes it easy to use at home or in a shop, and the digital display is clear and simple to adjust. Arc starts are smooth, especially in TIG mode, and the pulse function really helps with cleaner welds. The build quality feels solid and reliable for the price. Overall, it delivers strong performance and versatility without being overly complicated. ... show more

  • This welder has honestly exceeded our expectations.
Style: TIG200PACDC
My husband picked the ARCCAPTAIN TIG AC/DC 200A thinking it would be a solid starter machine, but it has turned out to be far more capable than we imagined. From the first arc strike, the arc is smooth, stable, and easy to control. The settings are intuitive, the display is clear, and dialing in the machine for both steel and aluminum has been simple and consistent. The AC balance and frequency controls make aluminum work surprisingly clean, and the pulse feature gives excellent control for thin material. It runs quietly, stays cool, and feels very well built for its size. Switching between 110V and 220V has been convenient, and it performs great on both. This welder has given him the confidence to practice more, learn more, and improve his TIG skills every time he uses it. For the price, the performance and quality are impressive. This is not just a “budget” welder — it is a genuinely capable machine that delivers professional results. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a dependable AC/DC TIG machine without spending thousands. ... show more

  • Excellent value AC/DC TIG welder!
Style: TIG200PACDC
The media could not be loaded. This is an awesome little AC/DC TIG welder! As a beginner TIG welder myself, I've been really impressed by how easy the welder is to setup and use. ARCCAPTAIN includes basicallly everything you need to get welding right out of the box. The only things you'll need to add are your argon gas bottle, PPE equipment, filler rods, and some additional tungsten electrodes. The included torch consumables for the WP-26 torch are fine for getting started but I'd definitely recommend getting a stubby collet/gas lens kit to make the overall torch more compact and give yourself a few larger cup sizes for increased shielding gas coverage. ARCCAPTAIN even offers such a kit. I really like the on-demand cooling fan of this welder. It's much nicer than listening to the fan endless spin away even when the welder isn't being used. The TIG200P ACDC offers a lot of user controls without being too overwhelming for a beginner like myself. It probably doesn't have as many advanced arc control features as a much more expensive unit, but that is probably actually better for someone just starting out. You still get full control of all standard TIG parameters (pre/post flow time, starting/ending current, ramp up/down time), plus pulse functionality, and the option of doing AC welding with square or triangular wave (AC balance and frequency adjustable). These settings alone will be enough to keep me busy for a long time as I learn the art of TIG welding. ARCCAPTAIN offers a separate foot pedal controller for the unit and I suggest picking it up if you want to have pedal control of the amperage. The pedal/torch trigger interface connector on the welder is a XS12 series aviation connetor which I have not seen used before on any other welding brand so finding an alternative pedal that would be compatible with the ARCCAPTAIN would be difficult unless you're up for modifying the connetor on the cable yourself. The ARCCAPTAIN pedal is a bit large and bulky but it gets the job done fine. Because I'm just learning how to TIG weld and can't provide a fair assesssment of the units performance yet, I took it into my work where we manufacture fluid control equipment for semiconductor fab tools. One of our professional welders tested the TIG200P for some stainless steel DC welding and was really impressed by the performance of this welder. For the price point, he agreed this is definitely the best budget friendly welder he's ever used and would be great for a beginner like myself or a hobbyist that can't justify spending 2-4X as much money for a unit from the big Blue or big Red brands. I'm really looking forward to continuing to hone my TIG welding skills with this unit and start using it for my automotive restoration and other hobby projects. ... show more

  • So far so good, especially for the money
Style: TIG200PACDC
So I wanted to wait a bit before i did the review. First of all, I'm not an expert welder and am learning to Tig and my other machine is DC only. I bought the Arccaptain ACDC to weld aluminum, the Youtube videos looked promising so I decided to get it instead of the AHP or Primeweld, solely because of the price. I could not lay down a bead for the first 4 days no matter what settings i used until yesterday when i finally figured out my problem. I would melt/burn through 1/8" plate and had alot of contamination until i realized my regulator is not calibrated properly and I wasnt flowing enough Argon. As soon as I adjusted that, I started to lay down some VERY nice welds. In a matter of two hours I was able to dial it in enough to weld up thin wall intake tubing and looks great. I did a butt weld, T-weld and a filet weld on 1/8" plate and got great penetration, cleaning action and stacking. In other words, even a beginner like me can look good with this machine. I started using the pulse setting and did ok but i need to learn how to adjust the pulse settings so i did ok with pulse. Have not used it with stick yet The only negative (if you can call this a negative), the AHP and Primeweld have several knobs which you can look at a glance and see where they are set to. The Arccaptain has a fully digital display with a few buttons and a selector knob. While dialing in the settings you have to scroll through all the settings to adjust or just see what each parameter is set to. So if you want to be able to view your settings at a glance, this one doesnt let you. On the other hand, once you have it set, do you really need to see where its at, at a glance? Probably not. The manual is horrible, it doesnt explain anything. Also, the balance control is displayed in electrode positive, but that isn’t obvious. I had to email support for that info and they were quick to reply so that was a positive. ... show more
