It was easy to set up, we used it outside and it was very sturdy. It did get a little windy but we just used big zip ties to make sure it didn't nice. That was just a precaution though. I picked up this backdrop support kit to repurpose it as a frame for hanging grow lights over the plants I brought indoors for the winter. For that use, it worked surprisingly well and was very easy to set up. Pros: Quick and simple assembly — the whole frame goes together in just a few minutes Very wide when fully extended, giving a lot of flexibility for different setups Adjustable top rod width makes it easy to size the frame to whatever you’re hanging, whether it’s lights, backdrops, or decorations Cons: At the full 10-ft width, the top bar sags noticeably in the middle, especially if you’re hanging anything with weight The tripod leg supports are made from thin, lightweight metal, which feels a bit flimsy and can wobble if bumped The top rod is coated differently and a different color than the stands, which doesn’t affect function but looks mismatched and feels odd for a kit Overall: For light-duty use like hanging grow lights or simple backdrops, this stand is easy to work with and offers great width adjustability.
