I purchased this Emart Photo Video Studio backdrop stand kit for my videos and photo shoots, and it’s been a great surprise for the price. It’s sturdy, lightweight, and includes everything you need for a simple setup. Design & Structure: The kit comes with two adjustable tripods (2.6 ft to 7 ft) and a retractable crossbar (5.3 ft to 10 ft), giving you flexibility to fit different backdrop sizes. The aluminum alloy build feels durable but remains light enough to carry easily. Setup & Portability: Assembly takes less than five minutes, and everything fits nicely in the included carrying bag, which is compact and convenient for travel or storage. Included Accessories: You get strong plastic clamps, holding clips, and empty sandbags that you can fill with sand or stones for better stability. It's very lightweight and fairly easy to put together. It fits nicely back in the carrying case and doesn't take up much room when you don't need it out. Cons, it's cheaply made. The brace that keeps the tripod up is plastic, the clips that keep it from collapsing are hard to open and you worry about breaking them as they're plastic. The crossbar has no way to set it to different widths, if you bump one of the legs it either goes wider or shorter on accident.

After 40 years as a photographer and I have to say I am impressed with the value of this background stand. Not only do you get the two stand sand the bar that goes across but they even throw in spring clamps to prevent the paper roll from unrolling. I have to be honest, I have always used a more primitive method; I'd throw a bit of gaffers tape on, spanning the roll and the bar. It worked but I can see how the clamps are better. You also get a nice case and two accessory sand bags, which is a must for this system, I will get into that next. This backdrop system is not very hearty. When the stands are extended to full length they will sway quite a bit and can easily fall over. This backdrop stand really needs these sand bags to weigh them down so it will not fall over. That being said, this is a really nice system and the locks on the stands lock down nice and tight and even though the center bar comes in sections it seems to be OK to hold a 10 ft paper roll. Having the bar in sections is nice for storage and makes the whole set easy to transport. I recommend this set highly if you take into account the points I have outlined. You can' go wrong for this price. I bought it because I work both in Florida and Oregon and the background stand that I have owned for 30 years is in Florida and I was going to box it and ship to Oregon where I need it more. Shipping would have been about $50, so even though my old system is so much beefier than this one I figured this was a no-brainer, how could I go wrong for this price? I now have two sets and I am very happy with my decision to get this cheaper system.
